It is about a 50 minute drive from CBD of Cairns to get to Harley's. They have programs throughout the day which are interesting. You can get your picture taken with a koala and for 15 dollars you get to feed the fresh water crocodiles with a long bamboo pole and a piece of chicken attached by a string, two times. Hartley's has a good selection of Australian animals, you can also feed kangaroos as well. We had a great time and would recommend it to everyone who likes animals.

We took a tour which left us rushed. We didn't make it in time to explore the farm area. We had to be on the boat by 3.40pm so we missed part of the crocodile attack show. We didn't see any crocodiles on the boat ride. The driver said it was because the crocodiles are so well feed and not hungry. By the time the boat returned we had missed part of the next talk. So we went to look at the kangaroos and got told they wanted to close that area. . We got told you can get your photo taken with an animal then pat the koala after the photo. That was not true. We got rushed so badly it was extremely rude. The staff were impatient and rude. We had around 3 seconds take the photo n rushed away.

A good 1/2 day out. Nice park and the guy we had on the boat trip on the lake was great, very funny. Does not require a full day, 5 hours more than enough time. Would recommend.

Generally it was a good day. Unfortunately the morning leaves before the crocodile attack show and we had to leave part way through the snake show to go on the boat show.

We enjoyed riding the boat and seeing the crocodiles and the other animals on display there but the highlight was holding Kelly the Koala for our pictures.
Very close interaction with animals, kids loved it.

It was great! Thanks so much. We had lots of fun. Especially kids loved crocodile feeding, crocodile and snake shows. The girl who did the crocodile show, did it amazingly. Wow experience for sure!
Defective mic and aircon

The tour was good overall. The microphone in the tour bus was horrible - no one could hear anything the driver announced. And the inside temperature was freezing cold with an out of control aircon.

Excellent!! Great staff - very friendly and keen to make you have a great time! Highly recommend, just Gondwana section is under renovation at the moment and not much to see in that part. definitely all worth the money.
