  • Please bring swim wear, towels, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat!
  • Check in will commence at 7.00am at the Reef Fleet Terminal and closes at 7:45am for an 8am departure
  • Please note: prescription medication and certain medical conditions, both past and present, will preclude you from scuba diving in Queensland without a Queensland Dive Medical. These conditions include, but are not limited to, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, heart problems, lung problems, ear problems, high or low blood pressure, current cough, cold or flu, chronic sinus conditions, fainting or seizures, plus the use of prescription medication including those used for the treatment of anxiety and depression. Please contact us directly to discuss your suitability for diving.
  • The minimum age for scuba diving in Queensland is 12 years
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Stroller accessible
  • Service animals allowed
  • Infants must sit on laps
  • Scuba Diving in Queensland; prescription medication and certain medical conditions, both past and present, will preclude you from scuba diving in Queensland without a Queensland Dive Medical.   • Scuba divers must allow 18 hours between their last dive and a flight. You cannot participate in scuba diving if you plan to travel by air within 24 hours of your trip. This includes participating in sky diving activities.
  • Travellers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 90 travellers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Crew on Passions were all teriffic. We couldn't fault the day on the reef with them - very spacious and comfortable catamaran with everything you could need for a great day out!

We stopped at two different snorkeling spots. It was rough seas due to heavy rain on this day but we got to see some amazing coral, plants, and fish. We even saw a white tipped reef shark. Vanessa was our guide in the water and she was amazing. You did not need to have a guide, you can go snorkel on your own but the guide was so knowledgeable about the names of everything we saw it was worth it to hang out with Vanessa. The lunch after the first snorkel spot was so good. My hat is off to the chef! Great experience and I would do it again.

We had a great time on our trip! The crew were wonderful, knowledgeable, funny, polite and helpful. My partner and I did the scuba dive....I got so enthused at what I was seeing that I got too far down, but Braden, our dive guide/instructor stayed calm, and considerate while getting us reorganized and back up away hitting the live reef. The food was very good, and there was plenty for everyone. We also met a lot of nice people from different parts of the world and country. All around a great day, and if we're ever back we'd definitely choose this trip again!

Great tour! We saw lots of fish and a giant clam! Staff was very friendly. Guide Julia was very nice showed us different sea creatures on the reef. Great intro for people new to diving. Snorkeling was fun as well. Lunch provided was good.

It was an absolutely lovely day! The boat is very nice and well maintained, and the equipment was perfect! The staff are so kind and passionate about what they do, it was such a pleasure to be on board with them. All the food was super delicious as well. Truly an amazing day overall!

The crew was very friendly and very competent. They were all enthusiastic and wanted to make sure we all had a great dive and great time (which we did!) but also in a very safe way. Trip cancelled due to engine issue - no help with rebooking

Our tour was cancelled after we checked in and got on board due to engine issues just few minutes after the original departure time. There was no help to get us re-booked on another tour. We had to scramble to book another tour at the last minute. A reliable company should not have last minute engine issues if it has done proper maintenance. I can understand still things can go wrong, but the least they could have done was to help us re-book us with another company. Thus the 2 star rating.

We are sorry you were disappointed with your experience with us; it is disappointing for us as well when we have issues that mean we cannot run our daily operation and provide the wonderful experience for our guests that we are renowned for. As a reliable company, we perform daily preventative maintenance, during the course of which the engine issue was discovered. Under normal circumstances most issues can be resolved before departure, even if it means running on one engine; unfortunately in this instance there was a larger issue and combined with the rough weather, we could not safely undertake the day's trip without both engines. We actually did offer to rebook you and your group for our trip on another day, and when that did not suit you, our reservations staff did offer alternative suggestions. That morning our reservations staff had a full boat of passengers to rebook, reschedule or refund, and we do not have access to other company's booking systems, so we are sorry we could not personally book you on another tour. We apologise again for the inconvenience and hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday.

We have a wonderful time with Passion of Paradise. The staffs is super friendly and helpful. Our few friends can not swim and in the water their first time, staff Phebe was so helpful and patient to help them and make them feel so calm and they went back in the water for the second snorkeling location. Snorkeling so far from the land in the middle of so many fish was so cool ! The boat was comfortable and the crew was just lovely. The only thing who was missing that day, was just enough wind to sail. Thank you for this magical experience!
