Anniversary Trip

Our trip started with the Chichen Itza temple with Norma as our guide. She is very informative and entertaining. It was hot, but she tried to keep us in shade as much as possible. We left and visited the cenotes and enjoyed the water and view. Didn't get to swim in cenotes due to chemicals in my hair, but we enjoyed it and food. The last stop in town square of Valladolid was amazing and saw different colored pigeons than in the US. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

We did this tour and booked it 2 days in advanced. The service was great and we made sure the night before that we confirmed they had to pick us up at the designated pick up area which they replied promptly that the next day they would pick us up. We made our way there and they arrived on time! The guide was excellent, extremely friendly! You have to pay for Chichen Itza on the bus with either cash or card ( card you have to scan a QR code and do it online). The bus trip is great and the bus is air conditioned. When we got the Chichen Itza it was professional and we got our ticket went on a 45 minute guided tour and then could have another 30 mins of free time. The guide was so knowledgeable so we loved this! Though personally it wasn’t really enough time to explore on our own but it is a bus tour so it is expected. We just ran around the whole area so we could see everything. We then made our way to Chichikan where we were left alone and had a delicious buffet, wow, it has so much and it was delicious and then we went in the cenote which was magical. You have to pay for a locker and life jacket here which is quite silly as the cenote isn’t deep. Then we went to Valladolid where we only had 30 minutes to walk around, we opted to walk around the area and grabbed some yummy ice cream. Overall amazing day out and worth all the money! Chichen Itza and Cenote

Had a great trip with Rey and Alfredo who showed up right on time to pick us up at our resort. The ancient city was an incredible sight and the guide was very informative. The cenote was nice. Lunch is ok. The tacos were good but some of the buffet items weren’t great. Closed out the day in Valladolid which was a nice town with a lot of history.

We loved this excursion, it was informative, comfortable, and we loved PASTOR!!!!! We also appreciate our driver. He was very careful on the road. This excursion was so much fun! Me and my husband loved learning about the Mayan people. We have so much appreciation towards them after this excursion. The Cenote was awesome. Life jackets are mandatory so you have to rent one out. Bring some cash!!! The food!!!! The buffet food was sooooo delicious!! The lime tortilla soup was WOW. We loved this excursion and we highly recommend it! Don’t forget to tip the crew!

organization was not perfect. I was 3 min late to the pick up location and the operator was telling me - sorry we dont wait anyone. Additional stress. Bus was packed, very very short legroom, distance between the row seats was like 30 sm? guide was not friendly at all , was very aggressive and arrogant telling people - you do want i tell you or you get out of the bus (given they paid money for the service... ughf..) bit of upsetting. Really wish there would be smaller groups to offer in Viator, unfortunately was not able to find those for my dates

Good tour. Took the tour with Rey and Carlos, the bus tired blew up 10 minutes before we reached Chichen Itza, I thought we needed to wait for another bus to pick us up but good news is that the other bus from Cancun was behind us and we were able to just quickly hop on and get to CI quickly. By the time we finished at CI, the driver was able to change the tire and we were back on the bus. The Cenote is good, however the Valladolid to be was a bit unnecessary due to the limited time. Overall, good itinerary as you get to goto CI before the Cenote so you get to cool down after a hot walk. Just make sure to contact them on whatsapp to confirm your pickup spot.

The worst tour guide ever!!!!

Luis, the tour guide was really annoying. He couldn’t stop complaining about everything and everyone, Talking trash about tourists and having a really bad attitude. Kept going for over an hour about his 16 years of experience, that guy shouldn’t be on charge of any group.

Tour was great but….

Cesar and the other tour guide who only spoke Spanish were very knowledgeable. I felt safe during the trip with them. My family and I (10 of us) took a tour every day we were in Cancun and the I have no complains about any of the tours. But, we did use uber to take us from our Airbnb to the meeting place for some of our tours and I always felt a little unsafe because the taxis were a bit aggressive with the uber drivers. The reason I mention this is because if you are thinking of taking any tours I recommend checking that the tour bus picks you up at your hotel or Airbnb.

Caution! Very poor communication!

We booked this tour for 8/19 meet at pick up point which is AQUAWORLD . The instruction indicated we need be there at 7:20am . We arrived right at 7:20am but no one was there . The horrible thing was the phone number they provided on email missed one number . It took me 20mins to find out their correct number on their web . During this 20mins period, I emailed them , sent WhatsApp messages. No response! I called them but operator told me the tour guy already left . The whole time they lack of communication. No one had ever called us to check . Wrong phone was provided totally ruined my trip

Confirmation of the pick-up gave me reassurance in this business considering some of the bad reviews I had read about other tour guides. Raul was a great driver and Victor was a passionate tour guide and very friendly. This made the trip very enjoyable. First stop was walking around Chichen Itza and learning the history. It was breathtaking. Lots of vendors selling various items from jewelry to blankets and t-shirts. Second was the refreshing swim at the centote and a buffet lunch which was absolutely delicious. I ordered a hibiscus margarita which was perfect (not included in price). Last was visiting the city of Valladolid which was too fast of a stop. Wish we had more time here to eat the churros and helados served in the park while admiring the views of the architecture and shops. We waited in very long lines for most of our time and had to eat our desserts super-fast.
