I cannot recommend diving with Clemente enough! Clemente was the perfect guide for a nervous first time diver. He was thorough, however, knew we would probably need multiple reinforcements; he was gentle, kind, patient, and encouraging! On my first dive I had an immediate panic attack when I hit the water, but Clemente made sure I made it down safely and then held my hand until I felt comfortable enough to swim on my own! By my last dive I felt safe and comfortable! Thank you for making this an amazing experience I will never forget!

Scuba diving experience

I enjoyed my first ever experience. They gave me one on one training first as I am not certified diver and then in sea also my instructor was guiding me. Clemente was my instructor and he is very nice and patience.

Clemente is one of the best instructors one could have. He’s very patient, empathetic and talented. It was my first time doing scuba and I got a little anxious during the first dive, he helped me calm down and held my hand through the dive to make me comfortable. I went in second dive feeling much better. If not for him, I wouldn’t have done the second dive. The dives are beautiful. We explored some beautiful reefs and sculptures. We saw lobster, sting ray, a lot of colourful fishes. This experience is definitely worthwhile and worth the cost. I would highly recommend this, especially for beginners.

Our dive instructor was Clemente, he was great! Explained everything throughly, was very attentive to divers that needed extra attention, and even held my girlfriends hand when she was a little hesitant to do the second dive! He made our experience remarkable and the pictures are totally worth the price! Highly suggest booking with Clemente and adding the picture package! We booked it with the photo/video pack. The training in the swimming pool was great. There was a bit of a gap between the training and going to the site which could have been less. Then came the diving at the museum. I enjoyed it a lot, but I had 2 feedback/notes. 1- i was very comfortable with "swimming" and also going up/down. Sometimes I had to go up to not hit another person/object, and the instructor with scold me for moving away. Don't get me wrong, I get and appreciate the importance of safety. I was going up like 1 meters, so I was fine. I think it would have been good to give a bit more flexibility. Again, I understand that they couldn't know if it was me being out of control, or intentionally moving away. 2- the ascent was too fast. The descenst was at a great pace, and we were allowed to descent at a pace we liked, but we went up too fast which was hard on my wife. I think we could have came up with a bit more flexibility, like some people in 20 seconds, while others in 40-60.

It was a fun trip, we went to the most famous area of playa mujeres with the vw bug and the statues. Decent boat, efficient help. I was with a couple who purchased some picture package so our guide was hyper focused on getting the best shots. As a Viator customer I felt I was treated with a little less importance

Amazing experience. If you have any anxiety whatsoever about this, don't do it. My friend couldn't do it and ended up wasting her money and sitting on the boat the whole time. I loved it however and it was amazing to see everything.

Clemente was our tour guide and he was professional, patient, knowledgeable and overall great. He not only took the time to explain the equipment, but also the sea life from the coral to the different types of fish. Clemente was nice and his lessons were great. I wouldn’t rate this as a very beginner friendly diving, since this requires you to know swimming and enough time to practice breathing through mouth. We didn’t know swimming so it was challenging for us to learn all the breathing techniques under water. It should have been split into 2 days instead for beginners imo.

I was so pleased with this experience. I really wanted to Scuba for my 30th bday, and I'm elated I was able to pull it off. My lack of certification did not stop me. This excursion provided everything for a safe, informed, and surreal dive. The instructional demonstration and tutorial at the hotel pool was perfect and was sufficient for me to feel comfortable and safe to plunge to the bottom of our dive. This was my first time ever Scuba diving, but the experience was so good, I would love to get properly certified and go again. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to try it out with an excursion like this to see if I'd love it or not. I did. Thanks to the staff for their guidance, as well as the amazing footage they took of my first dive. Will be back again soon.
