NOTE: There will be an additional fee for $ 20 US P/P if your hotel is in the Riviera Maya.

What To Expect

After early morning hotel pickup from Cancun or the Riviera Maya, travel by air-conditioned van to a high-end marina. Upon arrival, enjoy a light breakfast while listening to an overview of the day’s schedule of activities.

Hop into your boat and stop at the first of your two snorkeling spots. Take advantage of the professional-grade National Geographic–certified snorkel gear provided, and have a blast discovering the marine life below.

After about 45 minutes, head to Playa Norte considered one of the best beaches around. During your hour here, check out the shallow white-sand waters full of colorful fish. Next, spend an hour in downtown Isla Mujeres, and independently explore the jewelry shops, souvenir stores, and art galleries.

Then, back in your boat, navigate through the back canals of Isla Mujeres, Cancun’s own Venice. Admire stately homes and marines along the way, and stop at a beach club for a tasty buffet lunch: Maya-style tikin-xic fish, crispy salad, Caribbean-style rice, and drinks from a domestic open bar.

After relaxing at the beach club for about two hours, continue to the Mayan Temple of Ixchel (Fertility Goddess of the Mayans) and the Underwater Sculpture museum.

On the return voyage, your crew turns on the music. Sip a cold beverage on board as the sun sets. Disembark back at Cancun’s Marina Hacienda Del Mar and enjoy transport to your hotel.

Transportation was 40 mins late and used the excuse that there was a hotel delay but when I asked those picked up before us, they were all picked up late. No one notified us of the delay, instead we all had to call to confirm the transportation had not left us behind. The trip to and from the island was okay. The crew was nice and tried to make the trip engaging. Drinks were cheap quality so I’m not sure if all inclusive is worth it. The snorkeling was nice and waters were shallow but there weren’t any colorful fish. The beach was very crowded. Aside from the white sand I didn’t see the hype. Transportation back to our hotels was not ideal either. We waited for many others who came on separate boats/tours. We waited more than 30 minutes before leaving from the dock with a full van. The organization here could definitely be better for transportation both to AND from hotels. If anyone is thinking of taking this tour, do not have high expectations.

After days of trying to reach the operator of the tour we had no success. We showed up 30 min early at our pickup spot and after an hour waiting (30) min past pick time we gave up. No one contacted or responders to our emails calls texts or chats. Just a complete disappointment. We documented everything but the communication was simply non existent.

Overall, we had a fun time visiting Isla Mujeres, snorkeling in the coral reef, and swimming at Playa Norte. We wished there was more time spent snorkeling where we could enjoy that part of the trip without being rushed.

I would recommend this excursion. Crew man very knowledgeable of what the are doing. I did not feel comfortable snorkeling by my self the chief crew man had a buoy and assisted me, my husband and other partners in the water. He did a great job.

Got a mini ferry instead of the catamaran, also the buffet was awful only mash potato, rice, beans and spaghetti available and some kind of chicken the drinks flavorless. Paid over 600 for 4 people. Never booking with you guys again.

While the crew is very nice, this experience has a lot left to be desired. Snorkeling was such a fiasco that they only went to one of the two stops. They have gotten around the 60% occupancy by having two boats go out together (which means that you have to wait if one boat is running behind.) The lunch was okay, but they cram people through as it is the stop for many companies. Again, they try to make the experience fun. They had a live sax player (who was amazing) and the stop on the beach is incredible, but the ride feels a lot like a Spring Break party boat. Combine that with snorkeling that was hectic and crowded, made this less than a relaxing excursion.

It was a wonderful day. The driver was very courteous and professional. There was a continental breakfast at the dock when we got there. The staff made sure we knew where to go as there was very few of English speaking guests on board. The buffet lunch was good with plenty of food and drinks. The scenery was beautiful, not only were we in open water for snorkeling, but got to go through the canals in Isla Mujeres. The staff aboard the boat was fantastic! There were drinks for everyone, alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike. A great time was had by everyone aboard!! Would definitely recommend this trip.

From the moment we got to the pier until the time we returned, we had a BLAST! If you are looking for a party, look no further. The crew was so much fun! Jesus was the best. He kept the drinks coming and made sure we all had a great day. Even though snorkeling wasn’t available due to rough water, he took us to an area where there were fish. He found a starfish and a sea urchin which many guests were able to touch and take photos. The food at the beach bar was okay but again drinks were flowing 😉. There was time to check out some of the vendors and some of the girls in our group did the ‘fish spa’ and loved it. The one complaint was getting information ahead of time. We didn’t have a confirmed time and location until 1am the night before. Our departure time was 8:20 so not a lot of notice. Overall it was an amazing day!!

I will say the best part about the trip was the crew. They were great. They were informative and attentive to all our requests and needs. The snorkel part of the tour was short and we really didn’t see much. We only had about an hour of shopping on the island, which was ok because it seems all the shops have mostly the same stuff.

I first want to say that the tour guides were great. They created a very fun atmosphere and were skilled at snorkeling and taking care of the guests. My only issue with this tour is that I was expecting to see the underwater museum as advertised in the photographs on the tour page. They are advertising the many statues of people in the underwater museum and that is why I purchased this trip. I was very disappointed that I did not get to see them as that is one main reason I came to Cancun
