This is a must!! Please please go and upgrade

A little bit disappointed by the long lines to book in esp as we were platinum guests. This could easily be rectified with a dedicated counter server. Anyway… 100% would recommend this to anyone, couples, family, friends. Literally about 20 guests on our boat. Inc small children. Louis was the boss. A mature Mexican chap who is wonderfully bilingual and his crew were a hard working diligent team who had one goal… to make sure we were happy and “hydrated” 🥂🍻🍹+++ We snorkeled. Didn’t see much beyond sea grass and statues. But great non the less. Even as non drinkers we sampled the tequilas and local atmosphere The cart ride was good fun. Great photo opportunity and again Louis and his team made sure we were safe and having a great time Then the lunch…too much food, too much booze, too much awesome music with out beach DJ…she was rocking out some great 80/90/2000 remixes Great swings, sand and sunshine We booked with Viator (they’ve never let us down), got a basic package 50% cheaper than the hotel wanted. Then we upgraded to a platinum package… so 20 to a catamaran instead of 60 and a better service all round US$59 basic then added Mex Pesos 45 to upgrade to platinum Our On board photographer who took amazing shots and you can buy a whole download from her for only US$50. Worth it! They were emailed to us the next morning Worth every penny!! Please tip these guys well. They were fabulous **if you can pay cash in pesos you’ll get a much better deal on everything Albatross Sailing Team…. A Dream Team
Needs improvement

When we got to the marina, the staff checking out your details wanted to charge us an additional $20 per person for the van that picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel even though my tour voucher said hotel pick up and drop off included. It was extremely stressful and annoying. After 30 minutes out Viator representative, Raul, was able to call me and I handed the phone over to the reps at the marina checking us in. They finally let us through. We were placed on a the boat called “Big Chill”, and I hope I will never be placed with them again. I’ve done many trips and this is by far the worst when it comes to the vibe of the crew. They were not in good spirits and always had a straight face with no enthusiasm. I asked a your guide for some soda and they said “the bar is closed” even though it’s all you can drink. I asked another guide to ask the captain to play some “bad bunny” and he responded with , “you ask him. He’s over there”. At the ride back from the island to the marina, they didn’t do any “show” of any sort to get the spirits up. If It wasn’t for the a family of Colombians who were on the boat with us, the ride would have been extremely boring. For the first time out of the tens of excursions I have done, I did not tip. We just got unlucky with the boat we were placed in, and I hope they improve. I will add, the main gentleman speaking and guiding us who they were calling “Gordo” did his best. The photographer was also nice. The rest of the crew needs further training.
Would have been fun if they did not get confused
Sarah_L, Sept 2021
When we got there they did not have our reservation, so we were unable to go. We are now hoping we get a refund since they were so confused and did not have our reservation. The people there were very nice but the contact number given was no good. No one answered the phone
It was an awesome experience except for the food need to improve. Also waited too long for the transportation going back

I really enjoyed the trip to Isla Mujeres. The crew ship team were awesome & took good care of us. The sailing and the Isla Mujeres tour with the golf cart are the best experience.
Don’t do this unless you just want to drink
Justin_P, Apr 2021
This is really for people that just want to drink and have booze cruise: really busy, not relaxing, scenery is full of people and you are rushed along the way. Food is not very good and snorkeling really just jump in water and listen to guide say move along ... meaning they are just checking boxes that you visited a place to take an insta picture and then move along. As for transportation from Playa - it’s very long (1.5hr) each way. Wouldn’t recommend this one. Go diving
Never got picked up

So much fun. The crew was...

So much fun. The crew was professional, made sure we had the proper equipment. They were fun, the drinks kept coming. We saw lots of fish, had great weather.
Should have looked more closely at...
Bradley_B, Sept 2016
Should have looked more closely at the details. The catamaran trip was great, just found that there were so many people snorkelling the guides were constantly shouting this way this way hurrying people along so you didn't really have a leisurely snorkel to truly enjoy the sights. Crew onboard was awesome though
Horario cedo desnecessário
AnyMenezes_D, Dec 2020
Nao conseguimos tomar cafe por causa do horário, sendo que chegamos antecipados e tivemos que esperar o casal q foi conosco. E apesar de pedir 10 minutos nao nos concederam o q vimos ser possivel.
