  • Children 2 and younger are complimentary when accompanied by a paying adult.
  • You must be able to walk at a leisurely pace for approximately 1.5miles (2km) and be able to climb and descend stairs.
  • An additional surcharge of 19USD for the Natural reserve fee for conservation efforts and Tulum Local Tax is payable on the day of your activity.
  • Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby or meeting point 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.
  • Roundtrip transportation is available from most centrally located Cancun, Playa Mujeres, Costa Mujeres, Puerto Morelos Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen Hotels. You will confirm your exact pickup time with the local tour operator.
  • If your hotel is outside of coverage, you will be asked to meet the tour at a nearby location.
  • Hotel pickup from Tulum hotels is not available. Passengers staying at Tulum Hotels must meet the tour at the designated meeting point.
  • You should bring swimwear, towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent and spending cash for incidentals.
  • Most travellers can participate

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

we had an amazing time on this trip. Jerry is a great guide, very knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour. Jerry and the driver have been very reliable and trustworthy - always checking on everyone’s welfare - they really cared! Considering my wife is pregnant, and there was also a baby present with another couple - anyone can do this trip. Please bring SPF creams, and plenty of water to keep you hydrated. Great location, great price, Jerry was just fantastic! I would definitely go again with Jerry and this company. Thank you

It was an amazing time! The tour through the mayan ruins were informative and beautiful, but make sure to bring sunscreen and water. The cenotes were so relaxing and beautiful! Layla was a great guide and was amazing, and Timmy was a great driver!

If you’re leaving from Cancun, avoid this tour at all costs. The tour is supposed to be from 8 am to 4 pm. We got a message the night before that we’d be picked up at 7 am, but we had to be ready 20 minutes early. We spent the next 3.5 hours on a dying bus with no food, no water and most importantly, no opportunity for a bathroom break. The driver drove so erratically that my hopes for sleeping quickly turned into just not trying to throw up or get injured. We were completely rushed through Tulúm. Layla was primarily focused on us buying tacos from her friends. She confronted us for buying tacos elsewhere. She must get a cut on the taco deal. On the way back we spent almost an hour dropping people off with no air conditioning in the van. It was absolutely miserable. The bus then broke down on the side of the road about an hour from Cancun. It was already after 4 pm when it broke down. I have mentioned to the company that this was extremely poor planning, and they assure me that they did a great job.

So grateful to visit Tulum. But that’s where the good experience ends. We’ve done dozens of quality excursions over the years, but this wasn’t one of them. Cancun Travel Experience was the name, and sub-par experience is their game. In Tulum, all our tour guide did in the hour we were with him was ask us what we know about the Mayan calander, and almost made us feel small if we didn’t get the answer right, and that’s it. He didn’t tell us one thing about the ruins. They say you get what you pay for, but out tour was $2000 pesos for the tour , another $600 for the cenote fee, another $500 for lunch, and then tip on top which . I’m sure there’s tour company’s out there that give a good Tulum tour, but this isn’t one of them.

Our tour guide Layla was absolutely amazing! Passionate about her job and the culture! There was a major accident on the highway so our pickup was late but communication via the Viator app and WhatsApp was incredible!
Tulum and Cenotes

We had the most amazing day traveling to Tulum and the Cenotes. Layla was incredible. She is friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. Our driver Ugo was also great. We also managed to squeeze in a tequila tasting which was so much fun. Definitely one of my highlights. I would recommend this trip to all my friends and family.

Miriam was an excellent historian, answering all questions. She gave us lots of time to tour the temple, then took us to the most wonderful ceynote for a refreshing swim. Remember that there is food everywhere so there is no need to pack food in styrofoam.

We had a great day with Miriam. The ruins were amazing, with beautiful ocean views and the cenote was so fun! Miriam was a friendly and informative guide. Would definitely recommend this trip - communicating with the tour company was easy and they confirmed our pick up time the evening before. You can’t visit this part of Mexico and miss these experiences!
