Pickup details

- During the booking, please choose Pickup Location and then select the radio button saying "Please pick me up at" and choose "I don't see my pickup location" from the drop-down then type the hotel name on the box underneath so that we can easily locate your hotel pickup. -In case your accommodation is not a hotel you must indicate your exact address including street name, outside number, interior number, county, postal code and city. - To know the exact time and meeting point you must send a message thry the option on your reservation or must call us at least 24 hours prior to the visit date purchased. - We would like to make it comfortable for you so we will pick you up at your hotel or at the nearest point available in our routes. - Let us know if you are not in need of transport. - We cannot assure your pickup at a hotel where you are not a guest considering that some hotel's policies, not allow visitors to access at the property. - The guides will be dressed in red t-shirts with the Xcaret logo on the back for easy identification. The guides will say the tour name out loud. - Upon your pickup, please present your printed or digital voucher and photo ID for boarding the bus to obtain a bracelet for entering into the park. - If by the time you purchase the ticket you do not have the hotel yet, you must contact the Customer Service Viator staff at least 24 hours prior to the visit to the park to help you to coordinate the pickup with us. - You must be 10 minutes early at the assigned location. - Transportation service is not private so you will share the bus with some other visitors of Grupo Xcaret.

What To Expect

Following evening pickup at your hotel in Cancun, Riviera Maya or Playa del Carmen, arrive at Xplor for 5pm admission. Change your clothes and leave your valuables in the provided locker before your adventure begins. Between activities, stop by the buffet or take a break and relax in a hammock for a breather. 

Cave rafting:

Attach the specialized paddles to your hands and paddle your raft through 580 yards (530 meters) of subterranean caves. Observe the glowing stalagmites, stalactites and other unusual rock formations as you float through the shallow (3 foot/1 meter) water. Lifejackets are not mandatory. 

Amphibious vehicles:

Careen down a 3.4-mile (5.5-km) path through jungle terrain on an amphibious vehicle. Splash through two river crossings, past hanging bridges and a crocodile pit by the light of torches that line the way. You must be 18 or older with a valid ID to drive the vehicle. 

Ziplining:

Soar through the night sky, under a veil of stars as you zip from one tower to another. End your circuit with a water landing after zooming through the jungle past fireflies, torches and bonfires.

Swimming:

Don a lifejacket for a swim in the pristine water of Xplor's underground caves. The 437-yard (400-meter) river is lined by stalactites and stalagmites, creating an otherworldly atmosphere.

  • Minimum age: 5 years old. Kids: From 5 to 11 get half off the adult ticket price
  • Minimum age to drive the amphibious vehicles is 18, and all drivers must have a valid driver's license
  • Zipline requirements: Minimum height/weight is 4.5 feet (137 cm) or 88 lbs (40 kg); the maximum weight is 300 lbs (136 kg); maximum waist width is 51 inches (130 cm) and leg width 25 inches (65 cm)
  • Wear or bring shoes and clothes that can get wet, and bring a change of dry clothes that you can keep in the on-site lockers; please use chemical-free insect repellent
  • Important: Children must be accompanied by an adult all the time.
  • The Voucher schedule is informative.
  • The pickup operates from different hotels in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and the Riviera Maya so it is necessary you to contact Grupo Xcaret to know the exact schedule of your pickup.

  • Xplor Fuego operation days from Monday to Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Subject to change due to official regulations and availability
  • Child prices are height dependent. Children over 4.6 feet (1.4 meters) pay the adult price. Children between 3.2 feet (1 meter) and 4.6 feet (1.4 meters) pay the child price. All children under 3.2 feet (1 meter) travel free provided they do not occupy a seat.
  • If at the time of completing your purchase you do not have the name of the hotel, you must contact the Customer Service Viator staff at least 24 hours prior to the visit to the park to help you to coordinate the pickup with us.
  • Please confirm the exact time and meeting point using the message option in your Reservation or contacting Grupo Xcaret.
  • Travellers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • All requests for changes, cancellations and/or refunds on bookings must be in the 24-hour or more window prior to the visit date.
  • We accept changes in visit dates from one month to the next (valid until the current year and subject to changes in public tariffs)
  • We accept changes of visit dates from one day to another with the restriction of one day before.
  • People with food allergies must ask to the staff about the ingredients of the food
  • In the event of having symptoms such as cough, sore throat, runny nose, and/or red eyes and a temperature exceeding 100.4 F (38 C), our staff reserves the right to refuse to board our transportation or to enter our facilities.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

It’d be nice to have buses leaving every hour or something for those that are finished and don’t want to stay the whole time.
On the pro side, there were barely any lines on zip lines, and a 15 min wait at the vehicles.

Worth every penny!

Really great experience. My wife and I loved every aspect of the park, especially the underground excursion. What really blew us away was the buffet. The food was excellent! Another couple had told us how great the buffet was while we were waiting in line for the zip lines. We kind of thought they were exaggerating. We were so wrong. Probably the best buffet we have ever had! Totally worth every penny! We would love to visit Xplor again!

We enjoyed the zip lining the best. I would suggest going twice. Once during daylight and once at night. Plenty of time for all activities. Everyone working there including tour agents were so nice and helpful. Shuttle was comfy and watching videos about excursion, and other excursions, they offered was a nice touch. Highly recommend.

This is one of the best experiences I've ever been on! The park is beautiful and the activities were incredible, swimming through the caves and going on the ziplines. They have a great selection of food when you are ready to eat. Definitely wear comfy water shoes though as you will be trekking through the park soaked alot!

The weather was terrible last evening and they didn’t cancel the excursion. We all know weather is unpredictable but these activities will all outdoors and would have been extremely unsafe.

This Xplor activity is a must do! The park was a natural spin on amusement and there was plenty of different activities. We liked the amazing zip lines (one with a fire ring) the best! The bus transportation was clean and the bus guides were friendly. Otherwise the adventure park is all self guided which is nice for your own pace and needs!

Was told they closed the restaurant before we could get there (9:45pm). Was never offered any drinks or snacks. And you Got rid of the smoothies.

I never got the time for pickup. When I did get to the pickup which was dreams hotel. They would not allow us to park our scooters. We miss the hold excursion. And when ask can we change to the next day. They said yes but when I called the park they said it was close.

This excursion was amazing. We did almost everything in the park. The buffet was one of the best we had experienced. Be prepared to walk. A lot. It was moderately strenuous at times, so be prepared especially to do the ziplines. I would definitely recommend.

I’m new to country they scheduled me pick up In different hotel so we got to aloft hotel all we got after that was look for some with red shirt with there logo no one with an red shirts logo with no one to contact and service connection was bad when finally got hold them they wanted us to reschedule are visit so we had other activities scheduled so we couldn’t reschedule so I requested a refund instead providing me refund I got the runaround and week later they want tell it was no show . Of course to y’all it was a no show we didn’t get the right details and was mislead we not about to get on van with random people

I feel that my family and I were discriminated against when it came to the zip lining. The weight limit says 300 pounds and we are thick but not 300. We were told that we couldn't get on because their harnesses wouldn't go all the way up our thighs. Everybody isn't the same size so there needs to be different harnesses. We were embarrassed and humiliated because we were told to leave in from if everyone. Also, if you're older and don't like to do alot of walking I don't recommend this activity.

I had a blast. Only complaint was we were stuck on the atv track for about 20-30 mins. Not sure what was going on ahead of us but we lost some time to explore other excursions.

The zip lines at night were very cool, the jungle atv was awesome the first time around because I was in the front and got to drive how I wanted, second time I was stuck behind slow rude people who wouldn’t allow me to pass which was a bit of a bummer but a very cool experience nonetheless. The cave exploring was pretty wild with bats flying overhead as you swim through ancient caves. Honestly the rafting would be fun but it’s a mess of people who don’t how to row combine that with dark tight spots and it’s a constant traffic jam and I had to keep getting out to turn people around so we could keep moving. Food wasn’t terrible it was passable buffet food but wouldn’t call it good. Overall a fun experience and definitely go for the night experience from what I heard the daytime is very busy with huge lines for every activity.

The xplor was amazing but Viator service was horrible. No Transporation. We had to rent a taxi by ourselves Viator didn’t pick up the phone .

Amazing trip. Pick up was easy and we got there before 5.30. Park is so cool so much to do and the buffet is incredible. Great service all day! Only tip, bring water shoes, a water proof phone pouch and a spare set of clothes. Also, do the zip line before 10pm as it takes an hour so you don't want to miss your transport home at 11pm.

An amazing place, there’s a lot of walking though and make sure you don’t wear any pouches or hats before going on zip lining they don’t tell you until you get to the top that it’s not allowed!! Overall place and staff is excellent!! Oh and watch out for the raccoons lol
