You must be able to walk at a leisurely pace for approximately 1.5miles (2km) and be able to climb and descend stairs.

An additional surcharge of 380 MXN for the Natural reserve fee for conservation efforts and Tulum Local Tax is payable on the day of your activity.
Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby or meeting point 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.
Roundtrip transportation is available from most centrally located Cancun, Playa Mujeres, Costa Mujeres, Puerto Morelos Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen Hotels. You will confirm your exact pickup time with the local tour operator.
If your hotel is outside coverage you will be asked to meet the tour at a nearby location.
Hotel pickup from Tulum hotels is not available. Passengers staying at Tulum Hotels must meet the tour at the designated meeting point.
You should bring swimwear, towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent and spending cash for incidentals.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 52 travellers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

1st Since these trips are not provided by Viator and is a third party there is a lost in communication; Viator told us to wait for the tour guide outside the hotel premises at the guard check as their company is not allowed to pick in the lobby. We had to walk all the way to the guard check to know that somehow the tour company managed to persuade the guard and pass to the hotel lobby. Not only we had to walk unnecessarily but we almost lost the tour as the guide was in the lobby and we where waiting at the main hotel entrance. 2nd Timing is terrible the trip is sold for a max of 6-8 hrs we lost the entire day (got picked at 830 and drop at 730pm almost 12hrs) that said don’t count on doing anything else at your hotel or elsewhere. These guides extend the trip by making stops at places where they have an agreement and sponsor so to earn extra money in between which extends even more the time on things we didn’t planned. 3rd Be aware Viator sell these at a price to catch you and the tour company charge extra for some sort of fee for the site which was another $50 and obviously not expected. Would not recommend. Gd luck.

The tour guide is knowledgeable. It’s easy to communicate with the tour company. I got my responses for all the issues and questions I had quickly. I needed to change my pickup location in the last minute. It all went well.

Was great fun. Ride was long, but the van was nice and clean. Bring atleat 2 bottles of water per person to Tulum. Vendors try to sell you tacos and bug spray as soon as you get to Tulum. Lots of other options. Was too hot to eat after, but pretty sure they charged me anyway for 4 orders when we only wanted 2 orders of tacos. Cenote requires a life jacket $3/person. Make sure you have cash. Very refreshing and gorgeous! Jerry was cool! Great information.

Was an hour late picking us up with no communication. The rest of the tour was super rushed. Gave us terrible directions on how to get back from the ruins. We got lost and walked a mile in the wrong direction. Called and asked our guide for help, but he didn’t speak English well so we had to have someone else take my phone and talk to him. Then they almost left two other girls at the site, we had to tell them to stop. The cenote was the only good part. But we only got to spend like 30 minutes there. You have to pay an additional like $30 once you get to the tour so I would just book a different slightly more expensive tour

We do apologize for the delay, while we do consider heavy traffic, in some cases the flow can get pretty slow. Our guides work hard to let every one know the time and place to meet them in order to depart from the Ruins, we encourage our guests to be attentive of their surroundings to better traverse the site and its exits. If help is needed, our bilingual customer service representatives are always eager to assist you! Lastly, we can confirm that our visit to the cenote complex was in line with our usual stay of 90 minutes. The Natural Reserve Fee is closer to 22 USD, depending on the exchange rate. We highly encourage our valued guests to opt-in to a Private Tour, being able to disvocer the Mayan Ruins at your own pace and swim at your leisure in the Cenote with the total focus of our fiendly guides and staff is truly an unmatched experience! Everything was good accept food experience. Our guide named edwin recommended a restaurant but unfortunately that’s very bad. We paid $45 USD. There was a pizza place at cenote he didn’t mention about it. It seems very nice. Edwin should let everyone knows about pizza place also.

I highly recommend doing this activity with your family. Layla was fun, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Our kids are 10, 8, 5 and 3 months and they all had a good time. I also thought it was a good mix of history/educational and fun.

Good tour, hot and humid- next time would book private

Jerry was a great tour guide and our driver was good too. Mayan ruins were very interesting. If you are going in the summer - be prepared - very hot and humid! Cooling off in the cenote was nice. Only issue - a lot of extra time picking up other guests who were either late or waiting in the wrong hotel lobby. Added at least an extra hour to the day. Also a lot of highway traffic. We were out from 8:30am until 5pm. Next time I would book a private tour. But the tour company was very good and would highly recommend.
