Xoximilco is located in Quintana Roo on the Cancun-Chetumal highway Km. 282. Travel time: From Cancún Downtown 30 min, Cancún Intl. Airp. & Moon Palace Hotel 5 min., Puerto Morelos 15 min. and from Playa del Carmen 25 min. You can get to Xoximilco by car, taxi or public transport named Colectivo.

What To Expect

Make your own way to Xoximilco, located a short drive from Cancun and Playa del Carmen, and greet your host. Climb aboard your colorful trajinera, the decoration of which corresponds to the Mexican state, and embark on a cruise of the canals of Cancun.

On board, take a seat to enjoy a 3-course meal inspired by iconic Mexican classics. Refresh with unlimited tequila, beer and soft drinks, served at an open bar, and relish the party atmosphere created by a live mariachi and bolero band.

After your floating fiesta, return to your original departure point and arrange your own transport back to your hotel.

What else can I say but, OMG! This was an amazing dinner cruise. I didn't realize that it was a dinner party boat excursion, but I am so glad I got to experience it. I wish we had a more exciting group. This is more so for elderly people. Overall it’s an experience. The bands were great! I would recommend if you want to chill out and maybe dance a little. Really great for elderly people.

While boating around the lagoon and listening to music was magical, I was disappointed by how spiritless the food was - and for such a high price! Not to mention it was almost cold. Also, I really wanted to participate in the songs - maybe we could have had music sheets?
