Had a wonderful time on this day-long experience. I enjoyed each of the vineyards I visited. At Zorgvliet I was able to enjoy my wine tasting with a very cute pony! I would absolutely recommend to a friend.

Fun wine tasting day!

Such a fun day touring the wineries in the region. Lunch at Boschendal is a must (reservations required). It rained all day on the day of our tour but we still A LOT of fun! We were able to do 5 wineries. Four on the tram and the last one by bus. The staff on the tram stores your wine purchases so you don’t have to carry them everywhere! Hotel pick up/drop off is not offered so you must join the tour at one of the pick up points. Definitely recommend booking this activity!

Great way to visit a number of wine estates in beautiful Franschhoek. You can visit up to 5 but we stayed longer at a couple so visited 3 and had some great food as well as wine tastings. Easy pick up in Cape Town.

We were 2 couples traveling together on this tour and we had a blast! The concept is quit nice and the tram just created a truly unique experience. It ran like clockwork and you had the flexibility to see as many or as few as your tolerance would allow at 1 hour intervals. We visited just 5 of the 9 stops offered. They do pick up/drop off at 1 hour intervals, so you could hop to a new spot every hour or spent 2 - 3 hours at one vineyard and make fewer stops. All the stops offered some kind of tram tasting special which was a nice touch. All in all, it was an amazing experience and a really cool way to experience different vineyards.

It is quiet packed day. With the commute out of the city you already get to enjoy beautiful views over the souranding mountains. Once at the vine region, you get to do tram trip and bus trips to many vineyards to chose from. But it is basically whole day of sitting and drinking and chatting. But on the schedule. This is was horrible tour I personally didn’t attend this tour but I booked for three of my guest who reported back to me that they experienced racism due to asking about the different stickers people received and was personally laughed at and was never given an answer you also don’t receive any free tastings on this tour besides one glass when you enter the bus I wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone I would personally want a refund for my guest do to the un fair treatment they received I’m past disgusted.

We will of course send your comments on to the tram team for them to investigate, but here is some of my feedback so long: "Stickers other guests received": These are used to determine which tram route you are on and which tram product you have bought. (The tram runs different excursions, from a standard hop on hop off experience right through to personally hosted private experiences.) Prices vary accordingly. So you may be comparing a private all included experience with that of the standard hop on hop off experience that we advertise on our tour and include in this experience. "also don’t receive any free tastings on this tour besides one glass": What we advertise is, and I quote from the listing: "One tasting sized glass of wine in the tram". Looking at your comment, you received this. It very clearly states "Wine tasting fees at the chosen wine estates" under the "Whats excluded" section of the listing on Viator. So it seems your friends got exactly what we advertise and you paid for. Perhaps something got lost in translation and they expected something different to what you chose?

Beautiful settings to enjoy the most wonderful wines. The trip was well organised, fun and engaging. It was so much fun to be on the tram and the wines were exceptional. Only thing I would recommend is it would be even better if there were less vineyard options so it’s not too rushed on each vineyard, we could have done with extra time on each vineyard as they were extremely special
