What To Expect

Begin your tour with hotel pickup from selected accommodation in Cape Town between 7:45 and 8:30 a.m. Drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, taking in the view of the Twelve Apostles Mountains in the background and learning about the culture and history as you go.

Upon arrival at Hout Bay, take an optional boat cruise to the Cape Fur seal colony on Duiker Island (own expense), or spend free time browsing the local curio shops at the harbor. Return to the bus and snack on muffins and juice while admiring the views along Chapman’s Peak Drive (subject to road conditions).

Then, continue to Boulders Beach in Simons Town to visit a colony of cute African penguins (optional).

Our final stop of the tour is Cape Point Nature Reserve, a beautiful protected area with free-roaming wildlife and incredible landscapes.

After a healthy picnic lunch, take a leisurely stroll to the Cape Point lighthouse, and an easy hike to the southwestern-most point of Africa. Walk along the spectacular Diaz Beach encircled by dramatic cliffs and wild waves before you reach the famous Cape of Good Hope sign.

Then, climb back aboard your transport to return to your accommodation, where your tour concludes.

Unforgettable trip from Cape Town with Bazbus. Do it!!

I love Cape Town and this one day tour to the Cape of Good Hope & to see the super cute penguins was a special highlight. We had a small group of 6 people plus the driver and guide who was hilarious and so passionate about his job (I forget his name!!!). Boulders Beach is hard to describe...it is so clean and pretty thats without mentioning the fact there is a 1000 little penguins playing all over the place...amazing!! Extra boat trip to see the sea lions was interesting, they are huge. Bring a jacket the breeze was cold and I had to sit inside for a bit. The short hike to the cape point lighthouse is nice...views are breathtaking and no photos can do the panorama justice as the scale is so immense. Thank you Bazbus, picnic was delicious and we had such fun. 100% recommend.

Our tour guide Robi and driver Bobbie are amazing! I was worried that since my phone cannot make calls and my hotel is not on the website picking up list. I chatted online before booking and confirmed my hotel pick up. Still the form asked me to confirm with local provider. While I was worried, they came and pick me up with no trouble at all Everything went great. I was able to see all the places I wanted to see in one day. A lot was contained in this tour and I was surprised that we could do all that in just one day - visiting the seal colony as well as the penguin colony, a walk up to the old lighthouse at Cape Point as well as a walk along the cliff to Cape of Good Hope, light snack and picnic lunch and some picture stops along the way. Needless to mention a great guide and a great driver. Amazing!
