We had Danny (Danson) take our tour, he was funny, friendly and so knowledgeable! He is absolutely epic at finding animals and has missed his calling as a safari guide, imo!! He told us all about the local history, he knew all the dates and locations, he was honestly one of the best guides I've had! More guides like him needed! Chapman Peak was closed due to the rainfall but he made sure we didn't miss out and handled it so well, everyone on our tour was impressed, he really looked after us and cared that we were enjoying it! Thanks Danny, see you in a couple of years!

What a lovely day we had doing this tour. Our guide was Danson and he was incredibly knowledgeable and fun! Entrance fees for all activities are not included and in most places payment is by card only. Definitely recommend doing this tour if you’re heading to Cape Town, you’ll love it!

This was a very good tour around the Cape peninsula. Everything could be seen in just less than 9 hours' time. Photo stops as well and not a feeling of being in a hurry. The driver/guide was a good guy. Only missing a complimentary water bottle.

Overall, a well packaged day with options to decide to make it an experience that most suits the guest. Whilst the vista of the actual cape of Good Hope is small compared to the nearby light house, and it is a bit underwhelming in size, its stature as the most South Western Point of the African Continent was an obvious lure and must do! There is a meeting of the currents of two oceans and that too brings the obvious vibrant sealife to the fore, seals, cormorants, big fish, little fish...and huge offshore reefs that hold much history of the explorers of the past. A great day out.

We enjoyed all of our. The tips guide was informative and super friendly. Only thing I wish was different is more time in bokaap. I feel we took our photos and rushed out of there. We wanted time to walk around and enjoy bokaap. Everything else was great!
Fabulous Fun and Educational Tour

Danson gave us a wonderful tour. He was warm, engaging and very knowledgeable about everything we saw. Learning about the history of the area was incredible. Our visit to the Cape of Good Hope came with a surprise opportunity to hike along the coast. And of course the penguins were fabulous. I’m so glad we had Danson to guide us through all of it. We would have missed a lot of great stuff without him.
Too Many Stops

This tour was a bit disappointing, because we were rushing from one stop to the next and didn't get to spend enough time at Cape Hope or the penguins. At Cape Hope we barely had enough time to get to the light house and back and at the Boulder Beach (penguins) we maybe had a half hour viewing time instead of the advertised hour. We also would have liked to have had time to explore Simon's Town after lunch. The tour should cut down on the number of stops and focus more quality time on the key attractions. There also was a lot of confusion about the pickup time. The Viator app said it was 7:30AM, under "Contact the Tour Operator" it said 7:30-8:00AM, and the tour guide said it was 8:10AM. We finally got picked up at 8:50AM because they had trouble finding the address, although it was one of the tour's pre-defined stops. That being said, the tour guide did a great job communicating with us about the delay in pickup, he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and did a great job keeping us on the hectic schedule.

The pickup time starts from 7:30 and based on the route each client will be picked up at different times. As for the time spent at the various spots with a shared tour time is very limited. Should you wish to book a tour like this in the future we would rather advise you to book a private tour where you could control or choose the duration you would want to spend at one spot. This tour took us to so many interesting locations around Cape Town with many stunning views! Was able to see the penguins at the Boulder Colony and make it down to the Cape of Good Hope. Definitely recommend using these tours if you want all the logistics sorted to visit all of these sites.

This is a long day that includes a whole bunch of stops but if your looking to not drive and see a lot of the area then this is the tour for you. We were never rushed and there was plenty of information, history and good banter. I would definitely recommend this tour but just be aware it is a long, enjoyable, day.
