“Capri Official Tour” is the operator. It was a miserable. I read the bad reviews and chose to go ahead regardless. What a mistake. By the way, I don’t recommend booking a tour ahead of time, there are plenty of places to purchase a tour from once you’re there.
First of all, the day of the tour (Sep 21), the water was extremely choppy. There was a yellow flag warning. I contacted the operator and asked if it’s possible to cancel without a penalty due to the weather and because I knew I would get sea sick. The guy said no, the water is not choppy (liar).
So the meetup time was 10am. We waited for 30 minutes. The girl in the bar who makes you sign the liability contract said that there was a problem with the boat line. Finally the operator guy showed up 30 minutes later looking very grumpy, like he just rolled out of bed. No apology whatsoever. When I asked why he was late, he said “relax lady, you’re on holiday“. Exactly! I’m on holiday and I don’t like it when the company that I paid a lot of money to waste my time. Later on he said there was an accident. BS!
Sure enough, the water was extremely choppy (like being in a washing machine) and I threw up the hole time. The boat was old and very noisy, it released a constant stench of diesel, so that made it worse.
If course, swimming was out of the question.
Basically, this is a very unreliable tour operator, with no integrity, and they don’t have any sense of customer service. AVOID.
Great tour; pickup/meeting point was hectic.

The tour was amazing and the captain was very good, however the meeting process was poorly arranged. Very unorganized. It was a good trip once we were on the boat.

I was apprehensive about booking this due to the reviews however went ahead. It seems like after going on the experience perhaps there’s different skippers that provide different trips? Our trip was middle of September and was a very busy this weekend so I’m not sure if this impacted our itinerary. We didn’t go to the blue grotto (which I knew was a 99% probability before booking so that was fine). The only grotto we went to was the white grotto, so I’m not sure what happened to the green grotto? We stopped for ONE swim stop. We were also not told this was the only one whilst swimming only once back on the boat driving. According to the itinerary there should have been two and potentially a third? Overall it wasn’t a bad experience but also was not the experience outlined in the itinerary.

we had a great time on our boat tour. our host was very knowledgeable and provided great info about the areas we were touring. we got to swim for a while and enjoyed limoncello shots with the group. highly recommend for the price. we enjoyed it so much and would do again!

GO ON THIS OUTING! We read all of the reviews before we booked this and some weren’t too good but we wanted to go out on the water so we took our chances… and we are so glad we did! This was our favorite thing we did in Capri and only wish it was longer than 2 hours. It was not hard to find, just follow the instructions and go to the cafe. The boat is very nice, the skipper was informative and made it fun. We saw three grottos (not the blue one as it is not part of this tour). He maneuvered the boat so well through all and even played André Bocelli music for us as we went through one of the grottos which made it so special. We had the best time and loved the whole experience.

Best way to spend the afternoon in Capri! The views of the island from the sea are gorgeous and we got to swim a couple times! Absolutely recommend this!

The tour is two hrs from dock to dock. They sell you on blue grotto but when you board the boat captain says the line is too long so he doesn’t want to do it. Too much bait and switch for my taste. Alcoholic beverages mean a snort of limoncello in a plastic disposable cup. The boat stops and we had a twenty minute swim in 25 m of incredibly clear Mediterranean water. It’s was very choppy so the two hrs were long enough. Boat was good and the captain was good too.

Amazing tour! I highly recommend doing this tour first thing in the morning- its only 2 hours and you get to see the main and most emblematic. caves/rock formations of Capri. Francesco was very nice and the boat was modern and very clean. 100% recommended!
