    Our office is located 100 meters south of Automercado in Playa Herradura. 10 minutes from Jaco and 1 km from Los Suenos Marriott Resort. We offer free transportation from Jaco, or guests can park securely at our office.

Pickup details

Please provide your hotel or house name and address for transportation. Our customer service team will contact you the day before your tour with your exact pickup time. We supply transportation from Jaco and Los Suenos area only. PLEASE READ IMPORTANT GREEN SEASON NOTES. OUR TOUR OPERATES 11 am - 3:30 during the months of MAY to NOVEMBER to avoid rain and rough water in the evening hours. We do not operate Sunset Tours during these months, sunsets are very unlikely during these months and guests will enjoy the early hours on the beach which in the green season are generally sunny and beautiful. WE WILL CONTACT YOU TO make your transportation arrangements. We do not offer refunds to guests who book our tour and have not read the IMPORTANT NOTES regarding Green Season hours of operation.

  • Our cruise is not a booze cruise, if you are looking for a booze cruise, you will be disappointed
  • Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
  • Not recommended for participants with back problems or participants with limited mobility
  • There is plenty of shaded areas on board, please prepare to spend majority of your tour in direct or indirect sunlight. For safety reasons spray sunscreens are not permitted.
  • We board the large catamaran from small tenders from the beach. Long dresses, and pants are not recommended.
  • Service animals allowed

  • Not recommended for pregnant travellers
  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • You will be notified by a representative of your pickup time, our transportation will only wait 5 minutes at each stop before moving to the next stop. If you miss your transportation time, your tour will be cancelled without refund.
  • ID is needed to use paddle boards, boogie boards, surf boards and snorkel gear.
  • Banana Boat rides are available for purchase. Please contact us to reserve and purchase tickets.
  • VERY IMPORTANT NOTE*** GREEN SEASON MAY - NOVEMBER ****WE DO NOT RUN A SUNSET TOUR. Our sunset tour during these months operates from 11am - 3:30 pm to avoid rain, and rough waters in the evening during these months. During these months there is rarely a SUNSET and safety is our priority - always! Please note when booking these months we will contact you to arrange pickup, which is will be between 9:45 - 10:30 am during GREEN SEASON.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

This tour was very fun and easy to find. The directions to the meeting point were clear and we started the tour very quickly. If you like to drink alcohol, you'll enjoy this trip. They offered beer, wine, and liquor throughout the entire experience. Beautiful views of the ocean and a good chance to see some wildlife like whales, dolphins, crabs and more. I highly recommend it! My only complaint is that I wish it were longer.

This excursion was unfortunately one that seemd to be for those who are retired or older. if you are in the age range from 20s-30s this is not your trip. The crew was not really that friendly, not only that this is not a booze cruise in which you can actually get a drink. they make you sit down the entire time on the boat. the drinks are extremely watered down! you literally have them just walking around the boat asking if you are, ok? UH yeah, I guess we are since we can't stand or do anything at all. There were also obvious microaggressions made towards my friends and I. they played 70s disco old school music! nothing current or up to date when asked if we could change it or use a Bluetooth the gentleman said yes if it's music everyone would like. clearly insinuating anything that because of our color we'd play more hip-hop & rap music. it was very clear. also there was some other guy who constantly stared at me and made me super uncomfortable. The experience was enjoyed bc I was with friends but if you can find another boat to take with actual ability to move around and enjoy yourself GO THERE!

Hello DAnna, Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback. Costa Rica from May to October often experiences choppy water. The safety of our guests onboard is our first priority. Unfortunately, if you are at the front of the boat, we ask that you are seated. We are a family-oriented tour and we cater to families with young children. For this reason, we generally only play our playlists. We recommend Private Tours to guests who would like to play music and have a more catered (or more crazy, if this is your style) experience with their group of friends or family. We are not a booze cruise - this is extremely outlined in our confirmation email. We are family oriented and for this reason, we do not define ourselves as a booze cruise. Another reason we do not promote our tour as a booze cruise is that our tour involves entering and exiting tenders (small boats) to the secluded beach we visit. It is not safe when passengers have been drinking heavily. As for watered-down drinks, Cacique - which is the white rum made from sugar cane - tastes more like sugar than liquor. It is the foundation of all our drinks. I assure you all our drinks are handmade and are in fact more than half liquor. We really take great pride in the mix of our drinks and that they taste great and are not overly done. We apologize you felt uncomfortable. The sunset cruise was beyond amazing, our group really enjoyed our time the ride there was smooth going to the private island escape where we spent great time experiencing nature and the fun excursions. The food and drinks service was phenomenal as well definitely will recommend to anyone looking for a great time.

I’m not happy because this tour changed the time to earlier from 130 to 1130 and I wasn’t advised so I missed it. Waiting on a refund from them now.

It seems strange to us that without attending the tour you give us a rating, even more knowing how happy our clients end up. Again we explain: from March 15 our tours are from 11-3: 30pm, when you book in your confirmation there is the time change, this for security reasons since after 4pm we usually have high waves and heavy rain. We will always take care of our clients, hopefully one day you will visit our tour and change your mind.

Not worth the price

The boat was entirely too small for the 25 people they had on board. We where packed in like sardines and barely had any room to move or dance. One of the staff was very rude when we tried to complain about the space and told us we can “get out and get our money back” as if we where not already there. Drinks on the boat was not great and the boat quality was not good. The best part of the tour was when we where dropped off at the beach to relax. The food served on the beach was ok. Overall this was not worth the amount charged.

Hello Mac, We are sorry to hear that you believe the tour with us was not worth the price you paid. It is our priority to deliver the best service, food, drinks and on every tour to every client. The catamaran has just recently been rebuilt and is coast guard approved for 40 guests. We believe strongly in customer service and comfort and to be able to deliver this we limit our guest count to 25. It is a 50' Catamaran and one of the largest in this area. We are not a typical catamaran, that operates party boat cruises. Our catamaran is a sailing catamaran with double nets in the front and low to the water for better aerodynamics. This makes our catamaran more of a real cruising feeling than a taxi boat and has a little less floor space in the front. Everyone normally dances on board with no issues and has a fabulous time. Once again, I have reviewed your concerns with our crew and we do everything possible to serve only the best cocktails, the best handmade, fresh (not catered) food that is prepared on the beach. We love Sealounge Catamaran so much we're about to book our third tour. We live 25 minutes outside of Jaco (American Expats) and love taking this for ourselves on the weekend with family and friends that visit us. The staff are super friendly and fun, the book ride is not too long, the island is dreamy. Enjoy the drinks, homemade food, water; PURA VIDA.

Absolutely wonderful! Can't say enough about how fabulous this was. After viewing others reviews of Tortuga island my niece and I chose to do this adventure instead and were not disappointed. The boat ride was so much fun with music and drinks and I felt very comfortable with how experienced the crew was. The beach was gorgeous and we had it all to ourselves. There were chairs for everyone, water toys, and always someone available to help with whatever we needed. Lunch was delicious as were the drinks and snacks! Got to play volleyball and had a wonderful time chatting with the crew. It was definitely a highlight of our trip and would highly reccomend!!! Pura Vida!
