Don’t waste your money

Our tour guide loved him the tour itself again not his fault was not worth the money. I will never do this again. Nothing really haunting or scary about it. Got bored halfway thru it.

Nice evening out for a walk with history.

The tour guides pictures of events and sharing stories from the dark history in the area. The dungeon is not well lit. You see only part of it, you don't go behind the big door that's leads into another area.

More of a history tour than a ghost tour

I thought this was a ghosts tour, but in reality it was more of a history tour of the city. Compared to previous tours taken in Charleston and other cities this was a huge let down.

Refund Tour $ if There’s a Severe Rain

It was raining so bad that we ended the tour after the dungeon. Money should be refunded if it’s raining so bad that you can’t hear the tour guide over the sound of it.

Disappointed

I was disappointed this time. The tour was completely different than the tour we did a couple of months ago. No haunted pub, no blood alley, no warehouse story. I had told our friends about it but this was not the haunted tour we expected.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing tour. The guide was nice enough, but it wasn’t at all what we expected. During another trip to Charleston, we had gone on a highly informative and entertaining ghost tour with another company and had also toured the Provost dungeon during the day as part of the Exchange admission. This trip, we had one night in town with several other family members, so we decided to combine the previous experiences and go on this tour. It was a huge letdown. Instead of hearing about Charleston’s rich history and wide range of paranormal legends, this was mostly just a few pretty corny stories. The tour ended about 15-20 minutes before the scheduled end time, but we were honestly glad it was over. Hate to leave such a negative review because we love Charleston and ghost tours, in general, but this one just wasn’t for us at all. Maybe we caught them on an off night? On a positive note, the Bulldog office staff were very friendly and accommodating when we checked in.

Sara the tour guide told ghost stories well, however that’s really all you got was story telling. A few minutes left of the tour it started raining and basically we were on our own to find our way back to our cars. The guide must have parked where we finished because she took off to avoid the rain.

I have done this tour before but it had benn a few years. It was just ok, I remembered it being better than we had last night. They kept us waiting a long time before we started. The stories seemed a little flat. I was expecting more, a little disappointing.
