Not what I expected
Toshya_G, July 2023
Our tour guide was informative and passionate about the history of Charleston. I would not recommend doing tour in summer. It was hot and uncomfortable for riders and horse. I am not much for history and was hoping to learn about what to do downtown but that may have been my misunderstanding of what the focus of the tour was.

I took a ride with you two years ago and this trip seemed really short! The trip was a different trip than my last trip. Our driver was very knowledgeable and personal!
The too short tour
Charles_M, July 2023
The tour was wonderful The weather was a little to hot even with the even ride. It didn’t meet my expectations as far as scenery and the time we spent on the tour was to short and too expensive. Overall it was disappointing.

Kathryn_V, Apr 2023
This was a great option for an out-of-state visitor! The tour reviewed a lot of the historical buildings in Charleston and gave me a good idea of where I wanted to walk around after the tour was done. Staff are super friendly and the horses are all very clearly well taken care of.
Do not book with this Company!

I was so disappointed in this experience. Having done several carriage tours in Charleston in the past, I had prepped my children and grandchildren for a History lesson on Charleston but all we got was a monologue on how our driver and his horse were so compatible. We were told the horse's schedule, his work days, etc. and NOTHING about the history of Charleston. A total waste of money!
Angel_R, Mar 2023
The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Sims was a great guide, very personable. A lot of scenery and info packed into the trip around town.

We decided last minute to go on an evening carriage ride. It was myself, my 92 y/o grandmother, my mother in law and my 3 y/o daughter. We all enjoyed it. Fox was so knowledgeable about the area history, had a wonderful personality and Teddy, our horse, was so sweet.
