Overview

Get out on the waters of Charleston Harbor during this cruise aboard an 84-foot-tall (25-meter) classic tall ship. As the crew hoists the sails of the schooner, you'll glide past some of the city's historical sights and watch for dolphins in the water. Drinks are available for purchase on board.   • Guests are welcome to go below deck or stay in the shade of the sails to keep out of the sun

  • The Schooner Pride is not wheelchair accessible. We will do our best to accommodate disabled persons, but there are 5 stairs then a gangplank to cross to board. The "head" is also below deck and you will need to negotiate stairs to use it.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 49 travellers

It was amazing - would definitely do it again the next time we're in town! We saw dolphins, the kids got to "drive the boat", and we had tasty refreshments onboard. 10/10.

We enjoyed the cruise aside from the bad 70’s pop music. Wondering why this was necessary for what should have been a peaceful sail around the harbor. It detracted from the whole experience, though we were able to block out this noise somewhat after a while. Crew was pleasant and very knowledgeable about the area and its history.

Beautiful day. The Captain was amazing. The other crew were helpful. They still drinks and take credit cards but you can't tip on the drinks so being cash. We were able to send Nikki a Venmo tip.

The two girls that were crew mates were really good at their job and were very friendly and helpful. The captain had a few jokes, but was mostly quiet. He did a good job piloting the yacht. Could have used a few more points of interest pointed out.

The crew and sailing was awesome. View of the Charleston Harbor was wonderful! Saw many beautiful dauphins in the natural environment. A must do in Charleston. We live near Charleston and always a great, relaxing trip for our guest. The boat is lovely and well maintained. Don’t miss it!

It was okay. Didn't see many dolphins. Took us out and floated for a bit... Nothing much. Wish there was more interaction with staff. It wasn't awful, but wasn't great either.

We went on this cruise just before leaving South Carolina on Sunday July 30th. It was originally scheduled for Friday July 28th. We were unable to make the friday cruise due to issues with parking at our hotel. Staff were extremely helpful with rescheduling. This was a great experience for first time sailing experience. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to get pictures of lots of other sail boats, the bird sanctuary and the Yorktown Carrier. The weather was perfect this morning! Great views of the harbor. Only thing we had a problem with is the event address wasn't on the Viator site and clear markings of where to go and Where to park. In general after 3 nights and 4 days in South Carolina parking is a recurring problem.
