Larry was a great storyteller. He had good eye contact and kept us well engaged. He made you listen closely and "catch" the hidden tips. I really learned a lot. I would recommend this tour.

We liked hearing the stories. I'd appreciate the opportunity to give feedback about our guide Larry.
    Highlight of my vacation

I decided late, the previous night, that since my friends on our Charleston trip would be sleeping in, that I would go solo on this tour. It was a wonderful decision. Not only was the tour guide (and, other attendees) super welcoming, but the history was ridiculously fun to learn. The guide even made time for a water break — as some of us needed refreshment. I can not recommend this tour enough. I also might add that it’s not solely history from a female perspective. I feel like my husband would have also enjoyed the tour quite a bit. All and all — this tour was one of the highlights of my Charleston trip.
    An Incredible Tour!

    One of the best tours

This was fantastic. I learned things I had never heard about. Larry has such a great personality. We are still talking about everything we learned 3 days later. You will be walking and standing for 2 hours ( flat service) wear comfy shoes, bring water and get ready for a good lesson. This guide was so enthusiastic and entertaining and considerate. He has a stop to get water and one to use the restroom. He positions you in the shade when he can. Worth every minute.
So much Charleston and American history!

Larry was one of the most informative, passionate, & highly entertaining tour guides we have ever had! You have to take this tour! He makes the buildings & streets come alive & you are transported back to a different time! He kept my 10 year old hanging on his ever word. We loved it!
