What To Expect

There's no better way to travel from brewery to brewery than in a Prohibition-era styled barrel bus! Step on the bus through the speakeasy-style vertical door to start your one of a kind Chicago Brewery Tour.

Each brewery has its own unique qualities. As you stop at some large and small facilities, you can get the sense of what it was like to step in a brewery back before Prohibition. Receive samples of craft beer at each of the breweries and tour one of the production facilities. Enjoy craft beer samples of different flavors along the entire tour. On the production facility tour, learn the step by step procedures of brewing and the science behind the process.

Please bring your government-issued photo ID. Your tour ends at the pickup location.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Chicago Craft Brewery Barrel Bus Tour

We went to three breweries on this tour…Pilot Project, Revolution production facility and Goose Island. I enjoyed the Revolution Production facility the best, although the stop was quick after the tour of the brewery. I would have enjoyed trying more beers at Revolution. Overall it’s a fun novelty to ride around Chicago in a vehicle that looks like a barrel.

Amazing tour! The bus was a very cool and unique experience, our tour guide told great stories and was very entertaining, and we loved the three stops we made. We took 7 friends on the tour with us who are almost all Chicago-natives and this was something we had never experienced before. 100% worth it!

Barrel Run bus is a fun no frills tour to 3 cool breweries. Ted is a great bus driver and we had a fun time on this tour. It is a not a “brewery tour” per se, as only one of the breweries actually described their process. The tour is more a tasting thing.
