A glorified city bus ride. Would have gotten just as much out of the tour riding a city bus. Hopped on #stop 4 around noon The driver , he was funny, witty, we’d go through the lower decks of roadways and he’d holler like we were on a coaster . He’d tell us when to break out the cameras and what site we were coming up on Unfortunately we had to switch buses at the end of the tour or wait around a 1/2 hour to resume .
We opted to get on another bus, tipped him and he gave us recommendations where to eat .
The rest of the day, the drivers said absolutely nothing . The bus we got on , the lady hands us ear buds and says she doesn’t like talking on the intercom so we can listen to the tour, I felt like I was listening to a kids interactive video . Was so childish , not anything really about what we were seeing .
The only thing this tour was good for was not having to drive in Chicago or park. Not like the hop on / hop off trolleys offered in places like Charleston and at Augustine where the tour drivers actually enjoy their jobs

While the big bus tour is definitely a great way to see the city, and provides an opportunity to get off at popular locations, I would not recommend this particular tour. There was no communication while on the bus, if you didn’t listen to the headphones, and several of their pick up spots were not marked in the afternoon. Twice at at a scheduled stop we had to get on another bus from the one we originally on and there was little communication as to why. The staff working the sites were not the most friendly and it was quite disappointing to blindly get in and off in a city we didn’t know. We took an architectural water tour later in the day with another company and that was the way to go!!!!

Rude driver. Summer in Chicago. No AC. Wouldn’t let anyone crack a window. Drivers name: Evertt. He said if “we wanted air we should’ve got on a different bus.” I was with my 80 year old mother. I got off and walked. Wasted every penny I paid for this

Bus was okay. There was no instructions for the audio no anyone advising to grab any headphones so we didn’t even know any were provided. The buses also end too soon. Why is it ending at 5 pm on a summer day. It just made it more difficult to get around. Play the buses did not run every 15 minutes. They were actually pretty unpredictable

Great loop around Chicago to get a feel for the city. The pre recorded narrative was a bit on the weak side, but the staff was very welcoming. A bit hard to believe that the bus we were on was sent out in +90 F temperatures with inoperative AC system. But would recommend as a precursor to walking the city.

I have done several hop on hop off tours and the bus driver would tell us where all the stops are . The ear plugs were
Difficult to understand plus lots of commercials to listen to . I really liked the experience of the live tour guide bus drivers telling us the landmarks
