Traveller Tips

You are inhaling exhaust for the first and last 3 miles or so, and it could be intimidating for kids.

Super ebike tour and snorkeling
Dean_R, Feb 2020
Took this tour in Feb 2020. It was wonderful. Turned out that my wife and were the only ones to sign up, so we had a private tour. Our guide Alfonso was very friendly and knowledgeable. eBikes worked perfectly and the snorkeling was warm and clear. Lots of fish.
Fun, but hot and buggy!

We had a great time doing the ebike tour in Roatan, and the staff was great and super friendly. I would say a few things to be aware of: the biking starts and ends through the roads in a very busy part of town. You are inhaling exhaust for the first and last 3 miles or so, and it could be intimidating for kids. The cenote is really cool, but there is a big sign warning you about crocodiles, so I don't think its realistic to think you will go for a swim. The beach stop was wonderful and we had a really great time. The beach and water were beautiful, and there was a restaurant with food and drinks. This was by far our favorite part. The botanical gardens were beautiful, and I really did want to stop and appreciate the culture, but we immediately started getting swarmed by mosquitoes (like, we each ended up with 20+ mosquito bites the next day), so our kids especially did not enjoy that part. Finally, we really did enjoy the tequila "factory" and tasting. However, they don't actually make tequila there, they just show you the ancient equipment and there are large murals to show you how it was done. Felt authentic, but not quite what we were expecting.

I would have rated this activity much higher as the activity was a lot of fun. However when we arrived the Beach Bum staff could not find my Viator itinerary or Booking number for previously paid tickets. We had to pay cash to be able to enjoy the excursion which honestly is a huge disappointment
Great Excursion!

We really enjoyed this e-bike excursion. Our guide, Carlos, was great! We biked through the streets of Cozumel, got to jump into a spring, went snorkeling, and had an amazing lunch. After a bit more biking we did a tequila tasting. We had a great time. Thanks again to our guide, Carlos!
Great trip!

We really enjoyed our e-bike tour with Carlos. He was an excellent guide, especially during the snorkeling portion of the tour. We would definitely recommend this tour.
