Nice Island and friendly driver. We just expected more for the paid amount, because all interesting points come with entering costs (only drive by the guide is included). But good and nice experience

Oscar and "H" were such gracious hosts and the company was so easy to communicate with! I was able to text them the morning of our departure and rearrange our meeting time and the number of guests and they were very accommodating. The tour was perfect for us because we planned it to accommodate two of our elderly family members. We had a personalized tour of the island along with an informative journey through San Gervasio ruins and the honey bee factory. Oscar and "H" were happy to stop along the way at interesting points and Oscar provided so much history and cultural information about the island and the Mayan people.

We had a great time. Enrique was very freindly and knew alot about the island. He took us wherever we wanted to go. He also suggested a place for tacos. They were the best tacos ever.

While visiting Cozumel as a cruise stop, we had the pleasure of having Enrique as our guide/driver. We were able to visit Kun Che, and having him there was like having our own personal tour guide with us. We also visited a beach club, had lunch, and hung out by the water. He was knowledgeable, and it felt like we were hanging out with a friend for the day. I’d definitely book with this company again.

Our day our way! We had a great time with lovely Brazilian lady Anahi. She can perfectly speak English, Spanish and Portugues. Anahi picked us up on a brand new jeep with chilled A/C, we then head to the best Mexican lunch in Cozumel and after that she took us on a beach tour from west, to east and all the way to the south of the island. We stopped along the way and try the best mojito in Cozumel made with Mezcal, stopped at different beaches and had the best coconut water ever in one of the many posts along the way. It was relaxing and entertaining and Anahi gave us a crash course on the history of the island as well.

Alizon was our tour guide and she was marvelous! A pleasure to speak with and very engaging and educational. She listened to our wants and made sure we had a secluded experience. We had a wonderful time touring the ruins, tasting tequila and drinking roadside Mojitos. I would definitely recommend using this company and pickup and drop off was seamless and we didn’t have to think/plan anything! Hector ( might have his name wrong) was our driver, he drove safely and smoothly.Thank you for such a great day!

This tour definitely lived up to the reviews. The vehicle that was provided was spotless and well-maintained and very modern. Our guides Ricky and Christian (our driver) were just fantastic. Ricky's knowledge of the island and the Mayan ruins were truly incredible. They provided a true five-star experience and arranged everything as we were going. It was pretty much a day where you could dictate your schedule, but even outside your schedule, they took the time to show us other interesting and beautiful areas of the island. Would highly recommend it.!!! Ask for Christian and Ricky

Amazing sites and insights of the island- custom tour

We had an absolutely amazing trip, custom built for us by our phenomenal guide, Diego! Picked us up right on time at our hotel and developed an itinerary for us on the spot based on our interests. He was an expert on the island and shared so many interesting facts, insights, and recommendations along the way. In just over four hours we met with local craftsmen and artisans making black coral jewelry, chocolate, tequila, local food and more. We had a fantastic meal by the sea and left with a much fuller appreciation on the island. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Should also mention we did this with our six month old son. Diego was very flexible and even helped us pick up some more baby formula! Five stars!

We had Oscar as our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and took us to great spots to enjoy, from public beaches with no cover pay to great snorkeling spots. We could have not had a great day at Cozumel with out the great guide Oscar

Absolutely PERFECT day!!! I am so glad that we booked with this company. The communication with Mario (owner) was so easy and very responsive. Our driver, Jesus (AKA Chewy), was FANTASTIC!!! He was already there waiting for us when we got off the cruise ship. The van was roomy, clean and had great AC. Ice cold water was provided. Because this was a private tour, Jesus customized our day for us. We were able to add some things, like stop by a local pharmacy, and he found us the BEST restaurant for lunch. He even arranged for us to have our own private area on the beach in the shade with hammocks for a delicious lunch. When my niece left her bag at the restaurant, he safely drove us back and helped locate the bag. I was thrilled it was still there- the restaurant was clean, had great service, and obviously has honest employees. Jesus gave us a lot of great information on our tour. He was friendly, personable, and a very safe driver. Overall, I would 100% recommend booking with this company. It made our day on the island absolutely perfect!

Ricky, our guide, and Christen, our driver, did a great job. They gave use many choices to do and we went with the east side island tour. Not only did we get VIP treatment but they showed us things other tours wouldn’t see and we got to be on our schedule and pace. Ricky was informative and answered all our questions. Christian was a great driver, felt safe. Absolutely recommend. Thank you for the fun.

We will never forget our day in Cozumel with Chewy and Alizon. They knew all the cool spots to check out. They were just as excited about our trip as we were. If we ever find ourselves in Cozumel again, we won't book anyone else.

This was an amazing experience! We were apprehensive at first booking outside the cruise ship, but thank God we pushed through. Viator is professional, friendly, effective and so efficient. Timely, knowledgeable, helpful and made the tour absolutely wonderful! 1000% recommend. Allison and Hexler (driver and guide) were perfect hosts. Additionally, so accommodating and sweet. I doubt I will ever go with the cruise line again after this amazing experience. We had a 2 year old with us and they even supplied the toddler chair. Van was air conditioned, clean and new! A++++

This was the most worthwhile experience/excursion! We had a wonderful tour guide Ana who accommodated our every request. TLDR suggestions at bottom. First time in Cozumel. The company was very accommodating to moving our times as we had to push back twice by 30 minutes. Finding the meet up zone with Ana was difficult, but lot of friendly people when you ask and one of them even knew Ana and called her for us. The Jeep we took was very nice with AC and she took the time their to ask our interest and offer suggestions. We were only interested in the ruins and snorkeling and she accommodated and had great suggestions for more things. First stop was to a tequila tasting. We drove from Puerta Maya through downtown to the tequila tasting place. During which Ana was an amazing guide telling us about the history and small insights of the island. The tequila guide was great, Angel, and he even showed us how chocolate and tortillas were made so got to taste lots of Mexico. Place called Savors de Mexico? With a $5 entrance free each. Unfortunately, we didn’t prepare lots of cash, so we couldn’t give as much tips as we wanted but they were all very nice on the tour and we gave what we could. Then we went to the ruins San Genioviosa. There is $12.50 entrance fee and $40 if you want a guide. We opted out for the guide. On the 4 mile road entrance to the ruins, Ana gave us a great breakdown for the reasons Mayans made this ceremonial place. Didn’t feel the need for a guide after that. Personally the ruins aren’t much compared to mainland, but the story behind them was still cool. Take a few photos and go; maybe bring a selfie stick. Ana then brought us to a ‘secret’ place on the East side with a great view of the Carribean sea! The highest point in Cozumel with a great view and bar next to it. Great photo op so bring either a tripod or selfie stick. You’ll be surprised how tall hehe. On the way back to the west side to go for snorkeling we stopped by a popular Mexican convenience store Oxxo and got lots of snacks to bring back to friends. Then went to the bar, Sky Reef, on the east side where we were able to borrow snorkel gear for free as long as we ate/drank something there. Good food, but even better snorkeling for it to be free. Amazing Ana knew this place and the people as it was less populated then other spots we passed. Got to enjoy the reef and the amazing biodiversity in the fish. Personally my favorite part of the trip. Then Ana brought us back to the port. It was a sad goodbye as she treated us like one of her friends. Can’t say enough how great of a tour guide Ana was to us. In the beginning she taught us so much history of the island that we were rehearing things from other guides. Then when we went on a excursion, she would humbly stay back and let us enjoy our family time. She was also willing to join us in our fun of getting snacks at a conviene store and had great suggestions too haha. When we come back we hope to get Ana again. Overall, if the price is reasonable get this excursion! This is a more personal excursion and it feels like you own the island when you own your time on it. Compared to people who went on the cruise excursions our price was more reasonable and we got to do sooo much more. I would say 4-5x what other people did. And since it is only 5 hours you can have a couple hours after drop off to buy things in the port and eat more food which we did. Found some nice Knick knacks and $1 tacos from a local vendor! TLDR - get Ana as tour guide - experienced more compared to other excursions: - tequila tasting (w/ small chocolate and tortilla tasting) - Ruins - Highest point for photos w/ Carribean sea - don’t forget cash for tips - ruins entrance fee $12.50 each (not that impressive so take pics and go) - bring snacks so don’t have to eat lunch and waste the precious time you have with the tour guide see the whole island!
