We had Gerry as a guide and could not have asked for a better experience! Gerry was so informative and we learned a lot during our tour, especially about Mayan culture. The tequila tasting was amazing and we strongly recommend it! Snorkeling may have been my favorite part. The stops on the tour were great, but Gerry made it even better!

Miguel was fantastic! We learned alot about the local culture. We had a blast snorkeling and the location was perfect for small ones who have never snorkeled before
Cruise Ship Passengers DO IT

This excursion was amazing! We came in on a cruise ship and our tour guide, Jerry was very accommodating and prompt about our itinerary to make it back to the ship in time. Jerry spoke great English, was very friendly, and kept the entire tour group safe. The jeeps, private beach club and snorkeling, cenote, shopping, and tequila tasting made our experience in Cozumel fantastic! I 10000% recommend this tour group for all ages as well! My dad, who is 62 years old and handicap with a bad knee even enjoyed it! There wasn’t long periods of walking so it made it easy for him to tag along and enjoy himself. Thank you Jerry for the best tour of our vacation!
Don't waste your money

You will be forced to attend a Tequila sales pitch (even if it is a family trip)... and to stay in a shopping area at the end of tour. You will only spend about 10 minutes in the Cenote (dark water; almost nobody got in) and another 10 minutes driving in the "Jungle" to the Cave. Tour is pricey for the little you will be seeing or doing. The snorkel stop was ok. I would had skipped the Cenote all together. At the the end of the tour you will be required to sign a survey and the staff will stand next to you until you complete it while they see your responses! No pressure...LOL... but you won't get to drive the jeep back until you fill this supervised survey. After bringing all these points to vendor, they refuse to provide any kind of compensation.
Time wasted

Part one of the adventure was a beach club. It was crowded and noisy. Too much time was alloted here and it forced us to rush through the rest of the tour. Next was a spine busting dusty drive to an underwhelming green hole in the jungle. We stayed 10 minutes. Then back out on the rutted road to a pile of rock the guide called a ruin. 10 minutes here. A tequila tasting followed. Most people skipped this part as they were jammed for time to get back to their boats. The jimador was knowledgeable and said other commercial tequilas were "horse piss" about 9 times. Highly amusing. Not so amusing was the $100+ price tag of the tequila itself. Could have rented a car for the day for less.
Personal tour.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to do this excursion all by ourselves, as no one else booked for the timeslot we went on. Carlos was our own personal guide and driver. He shared great knowledge of the history of the island with us. It was a great time! I highly recommend this excursion.
Just OK

I have to say, it was fun being able to have and drive our own jeep. However, the tour really was not that interesting. We saw a small water cave and then went to the beach. We were only at the water cave for a few minutes, and then to the beach. The rest of the time, we were driving to get to the caves, beach, and then back to town. I would have liked a more adventurous, interesting tour.
Great mix of activities

Nice mix of events from driving Jeep, seeing Jade Cavern, Tequila tasting and beach. Small group with personal guide was nice.
Julio Five Stars, Tour Three Stars
Misty_L, Oct 2022
I want to start off by saying that Julio was amazing and I'd go on any tour with him; he made this tour more interesting. However, we were disappointed with the sites that we saw (the cenote was definitely a highlight but no way we were going in the water). The tequila tasting is actually a sales pitch and though the jimador raves at what a good deal you're getting, you can find find it cheaper in the stores. It is very good tequila though. I would not take this tour again, but I would go on another that Julio was guiding. He was also kind enough to take us back to our resort as well instead of us taking a taxi.
Don’t do this
Jeffrey_F, July 2022
Lots of driving in a keep on very bad roads. After hours, brought to a tequila promotion that the owner gets kick-backs for. Then an unpaid lunch and snorkeling from a beach. Very very very very very disappointing
Response from Host, Aug 2022
Hello Jeffrey, Sorry for your experience, as you see in the descriptions it says that to arrive to Jade Caves you have to go off roading so off course the roads its bad and thats the whole point so everybody can enjoy the off roading part, also its says in the exclusion part that the lunch its not included so please i recommend you to always read the descriptions of every tour you will take in the future so you know what you would be doing, anyway ill contact you so we can arrange better experience next time you arrive to Cozumel.

The jeep ride was definitely one that will not be soon forgotten……. The cenotes were a bit of a let down but the tequila presentation was excellent and beach portion great.

Miguel is an amazing guide very knowledgeable and friendly! Wonderful flexibility, made sure we were able to experience all the things we wanted
Rushed not enough time to enjoy anything.
Adam_A, June 2022
Our tour guide was awesome. The off-road or off the beaten path was fun. Tortugas beach club 👎. Weak drinks slow service and dirty restrooms. Way over crowded. Tortugas was no fun at all. Also it seemed we were too rushed. Too many things at once. Tequila tour was a HUGE waste of time. Not only do I not like tequila or any alcohol for that matter. The tequila tour is nothing more then a sales pitch. All we learned was how their tequila is the best….
Greatest Time

Our tour guide Miguel was so nice he spoke English well and communicated effectively. The tequila tour was awesome that is the best tequila I have had in my life!! They had waters for us during the tour and it was so time efficient there was no issues with us getting back on our ship. The road IS BUMPY but the Jeeps are so nice it really isn't bad. I just felt like the last stop at the snorkeling Tortugas club the food was very expensive for the portions I would wait until I get back on the ship to eat lunch next time, but the snorkeling was so beautiful. Loved seeing the ruins and Cenotes definitely off the bucket list.
Thanks you Julio, estuvo chingón...

Beautiful jungle scenery. Informational tour about tequila. Wonderful food and dip in the Caribbean Sea to round out the day. Julio was the best tour guide! He rode with us and had great conversation the whole time. It was a great day! Ps you do stop at some side markets for shopping but you can just take a break if you don’t want to buy.
Fun
heather_c, Jan 2022
We enjoyed driving the jeeps off road to our place of destination. A small stop to see some Myan ruins, jump into a cenote and tequila tasting. (We passed in the snorkeling) It was a fun couple of hours with our tour guide Miguel who was easy to be with. It was a great way to see some of Cozumel landscape.
Be Aware
Susan_H, Dec 2021
They don’t make the directions specific to the different cruise ports and they don’t let you know that the coffee shop referenced is out of business, so it isn’t going to show up on Google Maps.
