Abu Dhabi all day tour

Our guide, Farik, was amazing. He explained everything to us and was always attentive to our needs. It was a beautiful day but if you’re only interested in visiting the Grand Mosque I would recommend the 1/2 day tour. Otherwise you will be on the tour from 8:30am till drop off at 9:30om.

The mosque was amazing and beautiful. The one thing I didn’t liked was that I couldn’t see the Heritage Village, apparently they’re closed on Fridays.

Our guide, Zahir, was knowledgeable and patient, especially when some people were one half hour late. He was also very generous in providing long sleeve dresses for the ladies who needed them to get into the Grand Mosque.

I would actually rate the tour by this company (RAH) below average, but not poor. I say this because upon pickup at our hotel (2 of us), along with 2 other guests, our first driver was basically non-communicative, continued to another hotel to pick up 2 more guests, and then got on the highway without any explanation of the plan for the day. 6 guests rode in a 5-seater car for the 1.5 hour drive to Abu Dhabi. There was no description of what we were seeing or what the plans for the day were. He did however make arrangements for another car to meet us at the first tour stop so 4 of us could be in another car, which we appreciated very much. Even with the second driver, we were dropped off at each tour stop and told where and when to meet again. There was minimal to no description of Abu Dhabi or of what we were seeing. Contrary to what we expected, these were drivers, not tour guides. Having said all this, I would still recommend visiting Abu Dhabi, but perhaps with a different tour operator. This was the third of three trips in three days arranged through Viator, and the first two with other tour operators met or exceeded our expectations.

While it was lovely to see Abu Dhabi and the driver was lovely. The trip was mostly a selling opportunity for all the date, dried fruit shops, market and Ferrari wold.

The most memorable part was listening to all the history from our tour guide about Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I thought there were entirely too many stops. We were out for 12hrs, and it was suppose to be a half day tour. The driver was very professional and accommodating.

We missed our trip and a car came to pick us up which has two seats( sort of seats) with no windows or doors there were 3 other passengers already in, I informed the driver I’m claustrophobic and could not travel in the back like that. I’m the end the driver went without us as there was no alternative to travel, lost out on Trip and wasn’t refunded. How they expect people to travel in cramped conditions is beyond me
