Pickup from Jabel Ali, Dubai Investments Park, Sharjah, Ajman will be available on request for an additional cost based on your location. Guests must be ready for pickup 45 minutes before tour start time. Please wait in your hotel lobby for pickup Pickup time may change during the summer season according to sunset timing. What To Expect

Choose from 4-hour program that includes dune bashing, sandboarding and camel ride or the full 7-hour program with the addition of a BBQ dinner and enjoy many other activities at a VIP Bedouin-style camp'.

Start your experience with pickup in a safari-style 4WD vehicle from your central Dubai hotel and zoom into the remote Lahbab desert that lies outside the city.

During the drive, your guide answers any questions and shares information about the region. Head off road into bright red dunes and have your camera ready to capture what looks like giant beanbags of sand. During a break to gather the convoy, make use of optional quad bikes on-site. Then hold tight as you cruise toward the highest slopes. Feel the adrenaline race as your 4x4 plows up the dunes before sliding and slipping back down the slopes, churning up billowing clouds of sand in the process.

Reach a high desert dune for a photo stop and admire 360-degree views of the desert landscape as the sun slowly sets (afternoon tour). Take a camel ride and surf the dunes on a sandboard before you continue on to a Bedouin-style camp hidden in the middle of the desert (if upgrade selected).

The 4-hour tour ends here and you are returned to your Dubai hotel.

For those who have chosen a 7-hour tour, proceed to a torchlit camp, settle inside a cushion-strewn tent, and savor some fresh Arabian coffee and dates. Your safari guide will brief you about the various activities available: smoke a shisha (water pipe), decorate your hands with henna designs, and take pictures in traditional Arabic clothes.

As dusk falls, dig into a scrumptious barbecue dinner of dishes such as kebabs, hummus, and salads accompanied by sodas and mineral water, and additional drinks (own expense) from the bar. While you eat, enjoy a colorful belly dancing show and tanoura performance, where fast-spinning dancers whirl across the stage. If you wish, click snaps with Arabian falcons at the camp.

Finally, return to Dubai by 4x4, where your experience concludes with a hotel drop-off.

All vehicles are fully insured and equipped with safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government tracker, GPS, GMS and a first aid box.
The tour is not suitable for pregnant women and people with heart, neck, or back problem.
The program is subject to change due to religious seasons or other circumstances, which may prevent certain activities from taking place.
The camp features designated areas for Shisha smoking. Additional charge will apply if Shisha is required at the tables.
Falcons may not be available at the camp during hotter months (mainly in July & August).
Tour duration includes pickup and travel time.
Children under 3 years of age are not allowed on the tour.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Horrible experience, tour guide took us to some ATV camp, and told us we either pay $550 to rent an Atv or be harassed by panhandling people trying to sell you stuff. Not exactly the VIP tour I was looking for. We road the camels in pitch dark, and the ride was literally less than 1 min. The Tour Guide was rude, and talking on his phone the entire time.

Not bad but a bit underwhelming. It was a very touristy experience- which I guess is to be expected. I was actually between 3 and 4 stars but decided to round up to 4 because our guide was nice. The first place you go to get a camel ride - is only about 1-2min. It does say “short camel ride” in the description- but I thought this would happen at the campsite where we had food and drinks. We went to this camel stop first and then sat in an air conditioned tent for about 15min and waited for our guide to bring us cool water (I would have thought the water would be given immediately after being in the sun and going into the A/C tent). We were given the water but then told we shouldn’t drink it because we were going dune bashing right afterwards. So at the camel stop this guy came up to me with a bird of prey and asked if I wanted to hold the perch. First I said sure why not - but then my guide ran up and told me this is not included in the price. This was the first of many “extra” things that were hard to figure out if included or not. The dune bashing was fun but definitely not for those who get car-sick. Also - they really need to tell people not to eat soon before the tour starts - maybe give it 3hr or no food or else you will def be sick. This should be specified in the Viator description. We then stopped at a dune and did some sand boarding which was fun and the sunset was amazing for photos. We then drove to the camp for dinner and show. The performances were amazing. The dinner was ok - not too tasty but not bad. Overall - I thought the experience was fine but definitely a tourist trap. The description sounds a lot better than the experience and I’m sure the stories you tell your friends about it would sound a lot better too lol. There wasn’t a lot of explaining the culture or history - so it was hard to tell of any of this stuff but as rooted in history specific to the area or just a generic thing done in Arab countries. I was kinda “meh” about the whole experience but also - why not try it once? (also If you have already done this in another middle eastern country / area - skip this one)

One of the best tours we have been on! We were initially afraid that it would be too hot to go, but our tour guide Awais made it super comfortable for us. The team was very accommodating and changed my booking to the next day without any fee as my flight got delayed by 24 hours. It was honestly such an amazing experience ! So fun when my trip’s guide Awais drove us through the dunes. Wish we can give Awais 10⭐️ cause he is such an amazing photographer too !! All of the performances were amazing as well. I was just a bit disappointed with the camel ride as it was very short (probably less than 5 mins) and was done at night so it was very dark to take pictures.
