Great for any rider novice or experienced. Gentle horses and great leader. We had a really calming and beautiful ride. We will recommend for our out of town guests to do this. You see much more and learn more when seen from the back of a horse!

Absolutely amazing!

Had an absolute blast!!! The sights were beautiful, the horses were gentle and the ride was very smooth. Tomas was very friendly, played the harmonica and talked about the history of the area, the wildlife and was very knowledgeable about the horses. He saddled each horse himself, made adjustments to each rider and took us on a gorgeous route. Crossing the River was my favorite part. Will definitely come back for a ride!

Tomas (Mr.T) our guide was awesome, great guy, and Management was very friendly. I love how the horses are all rescues and given a second chance. The only thing is some horses were not matched up with people that are inexperienced riders very well and there was an incident with a rider due to two horses not getting along when riding next to each other.

Keys was a funny dude who was very knowledgeable about the area. We really enjoyed ourselves. We booked this early in the morning over breakfast and had no issues getting here. The horses and other animals were well-behaved and great to interact with. Overall pleasant experience.

Not very scenic

It was an experience to be on a horse, but the scenic trail, was not all that scenic. In addition there was a girl on a horse behind us that talked the WHOLE TIME. Silly Banter that her parents should have SHUT Down early into the ride. No reflection on the company, but maybe they should make some rules about this. I paid the same amount that they paid and she ruined our experience.

We had a great experience on the Scenic Horseback Adventure. The staff members were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The baby goats and pigs we’re adorable. The horses were sweet and friendly. My 9 year old loves going both uphill and downhill. It’s was a leisurely and relaxing ride.

It’s doesn’t worth the money . It’s a slow ride Not big deal of the scene . Not much to see around. I would not recommend it to any friend . Short and slow ride. The guy doesn’t take good pictures. It’s better to take a selfie stick

Great foray into cowboy country

This was a true AZ ranch experience with real cowboys that know the land and horses. They were knowledgeable, fun and it was great to be out in the landscapes. The horses were great, happy and healthy. The ride was at walking pace throughout, so good for beginner horse riders.

While in Sedona my husband and I took the senior horse back riding tour with our guide Kevin. Not only did we come across their resident buffalo but off in the distance we spotted a giraffe in the wild animal Park. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable about the area and it’s history. Very interesting. The horses were gentle and sure footed and obviously very well taken care of. We would love to do this again and we recommend it to everybody. Sally & Ed (salad)

This place is awesome! Kevin guided us on our tour and made it the most enjoyable and fun for our daughter. With the heat they also made sure to keep all the riders hydrated as well. We will definitely be back. There aren’t enough words to describe how good it was!

This little place was amazing for first time horseback riding. My 15 year old son had the time of his life. Thomas exceeding our expectations. He played the harmonica during our ride which was relaxing. He talked to my son and gave him tips. He let my son run the horse to give him a real experience. The women in the office entertained my 5 yr old who wouldn’t get on the horse. She showed us the chickens and let him watch cartoons on her phone. They had so many animals and babies too. It was so cute to watch them. Thank you for giving my boys something to talk about. They really did have an amazing time.

Not what I expected

The view was nice, unfortunately the experience was not as advertised. I figured it would be more of an adventure/ more of a tour. The horses walked in a line on a well worn path, I did ask if I could ride out of line but they worried that the other horses would get upset. The guides seems to be doing their own thing most of the time. I hope they can improve it because horseback riding in that region could be really amazing!

Hello, and we are sorry that you did not enjoy your time with us. Here at Wild Western we pride ourselves with safety being our first and formost thing and our tour is tailored just for nervous first timers, beginner riders, children and familes. . When you ride in a group you ride at the lowest riding level period. Horses are herd animals so if you took your horse out of line and say started running him, the whole line of horses would take off riding, putting many people including yourself and our wranglers at risk of a serious accident. Horses are live animals and have a mind of their own. We do not advertise anywhere that you get to trot, run, or take horses out of their order, we have these rules put into place for your safety. . We offer two different tours one for beginners and one for more experienced riders at Alcantra Vineyards. Guests also have the option to book a private tour by calling.

We loved it. Wish we could have gotten pictures of us on the horse but were told not to bring cell phone but some horses had sacks to put your phone and water bottle. Our guide Gary entertained us by riding bareback and even riding his horse while standing on his back. Very talented guy! It’s also a working ranch with lots to see. Highly recommend this place!
