Good experience
Verena_R, May 2023
Guy was a great guide - knowledgeable, humorous, very obliging. Enjoyed the scenery & activities. Only criticism was that food at resort was disappointing.
Good trip but 1 day would be enough
Leonie_S, Apr 2023
Too long drives in between activities. It was overall great to see Fraser Island but 1 day would have been enough. Due to high tide in the morning, we did the rock pools on the first day. We drove back and forth 2h to be there for 40mins. The guides were very knowledgeable, the accommodation was also good.
K'Gari, paradise indeed.
Paul_R, Jan 2023
The lake swims, Elli Ck and the rainforest walk. We had a great guide, full of stories about K'Gari, importantly the cultural history of the Butchulla people, as well as what has happened to the island since, and all the information you could want. Thanks Steve.
Amazing experience
Joanne_M, Jan 2023
Our tour guide Mark was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about Fraser Island and you could tell he was truly passionate about his job. The stops on the tour were all breathtaking. You have to see Fraser Island in real life to appreciate its beauty. We had a brilliant time and would recommend everyone to do it.
Terrible experience. Never book anything from Viator.
James_C, Aug 2022
We almost missed tour because we couldn’t find the picking up bus. Tried to call the agent phone number but couldn’t dial through because that’s outside of your operating hours (8:00 am Australia eastern time). We were waiting for someone from the agent or tour operator to call us but nobody called us.
A wonderful experience
Tam_L, July 2022
I had a bit of trouble finding where to be pickup on the 1st day. After that everything was smooth and beautiful. The guide was knowledgeable and fun. We saw dingos at the beach, visited beautiful rainforest with unreal streams, climbed sand dunes, saw stunning lakes and dipped into champagne pools. Loved every minute of it.
A world away
Terry_H, July 2022
Forest /tall trees ,lakes -clean clear pristine waters , birdlife, plastic pollution on the beaches (embarrassment for Australia and maybe its neighbours ) coastal scenery in the north
Non stop few days
Georgina_E, Aug 2021
Tour guide Wozza was extremely knowledgeable and non-stop gave us info about the island and where we were. Lake Mackenzie is stunning. The plane ride was so fun, despite not seeing any marine life. Food at the resort was good, big portions. No wifi or signal on the island (only where the ferry is).
Relaxing family friendly two days
Isaac_W, Dec 2020
I was with Murry for this two days tour. He handled everything so well. From the way he found the late people to the effort he had to get a vegan cake for me, to the patience he had to answer some questions about trees, he was such a lovely tour guide. We started with lake McKenzie then another lake with nice sands on the first day. The second day were the vessel, pool and the creek. To be fair everything can be quickly done in one day but two days are more relaxing. The accommodation was nice but only Telstra had reception.
Best way to do 4wd adventure

JackieUK, Feb 2020
Thought this was expensive when booking but it was worth every penny. From pickup at Rainbow Beach (picked up outside Rainbow Getaways Holiday Apartments also recommended) to accommodation and sightseeing everything was very professional and we had a great time. Accommodation on Fraser was basic but clean and adequate. Food was excellent. Drivers very informative and added to a great experience.
Fraser Island Tour
pkflyings, Feb 2020
This was a great 2 day tour! The only thing I was unhappy with was the accommodation, it was not clean. The resort itself was nice, the food was good, the staff was friendly. Loved every minute of our tour, Warren was a great tour guide!
Australian Adventure
LINDA_R, Feb 2020
Wonderful 2 day tour, our guide Mark was knowledgeable and informative-nothing was too much trouble. The island is a delight and even iffy weather didn't detract too much from enjoying the unique landscape. Hotel was basic but adequate as was the food.
Lake McKenzie and Indian Head
hjchristensen, Feb 2020
We had a wonderful time on the 2 day tour. Paul did a great job driving the bus and making sure we had the best opportunities to see Fraser Island.
Too much time on the coach
Natasha_M, Jan 2020
We were unlucky and experienced bad weather and would've preferred to have been given options of what to do when the weather was good. Good weather on the 2md day but spent all the time on the bus and very little time at the different stops. Some stops seemed pointless (coloured sand).
If you love nature this is a must do tour on your Australia trip
Jeroen_v, Dec 2019
All around fantastic experience. Great views, beautiful places and if your lucky like we were than you will see plenty of wildlife!
