Please meet your guide at Unity Park, in front of the drummer boy statue. Unity Park is across the street from Mr. G's Ice Cream, and parking can usually be had across the street at the schools. Check-in begins 10 minutes before start time. Tours proceed rain or shine.

Entertaining ghost tour

The tour guide provided an entertaining tour. The tour was easy to follow walking around the area. I'd recommend it to someone to is into "scary" things.

The guide we had was incredible. The man was a real storyteller. He was very good with the kids. And it was scary enough for good ghost stories but tame enough for small children. They even got a gift at the end.

Ken was very nice. But, with that being said we couldn't hear him half of the time and he wasn't very exciting. It was a different experience, but definitely not worth the price. If you're looking for a ghost tour, search somewhere else.

Our tour guide Susan was great! We loved the history and the ghost stories! We even heard on two separate occasions a loud clanging sound that came out of nowhere! It was dark and isolated. It had to be something! Had such a great time! Loved it!

The tour guide was nice but inserted a lot of comments about her own life into the tour. We stood on the same corner of the street after 25 minutes of the tour. It would have been nice to cover more ground during the 1 hr 15 min.

Overall this tour was just okay. I was looking forward to the best seeing as this location seems to be primed for good stories and experiences….but the stories were mediocre and the tour guide, while you could tell was knowledge, seemed to go off on tangents a lot. A lot of repeated statements, etc. which by the end of the tour - I was so ready for it just to be over. Glad I went - and would recommend a tour but I think maybe picking a different one would have been better. That said, this tour also advertised as being family friendly, which it was. Any if the stories were extremely mild, and really very few ghost stories (which to me was a little disappointing).

Family friendly

Tour was true to title and family friendly. We have a 10 and 12 year old and they were hesitant to go never really talking about ghost and the super natural. They did fine and enjoyed the tour. My son actually at the end thought he saw a face that looked half like Thomas Edison. Lol

Doug (with a "g"), was an excellent guide. Very passionate and thoughtful. The information he gave was authentic and realistic. We got a true sense of the battle and how it had instantly impacted this little town - forever. We also went on the ghost search with Doug's colleague, Marc (with a "c") and were captivated by the experience. Overall a wonderful night that was rich with history and local charm. Highly recommend it.

Listen to the stories of what have happened in these paranormal phenomena is kind of fun for a spooky evening. Thanks for all the information gathering with photos and voice taped, I really appreciated our guide have tried her best to share everything with the time limited trip. Our group didn’t encounter any ghost or spirit, but maybe just using my imagination to figure that maybe there are 2 or more faces showing on the shadow tree… I respect the fact of what have happened in the history and wishing all spirits can rest peacefully.
