The anecdotes the guide shared. We were distracted often by the loud sound of large trucks in the area.

Truck noise can be an issue at times during walking tours, but our guides usually stop speaking when there is loud noise. Glad you enjoyed the anecdotes, though.
Great experience learning about the towns response to the battle.

Ted was prompt with communicating with us and on time meeting us. It was a hot day , but we found shady stopping points . Very knowledgeable and answered questions from the group.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and accommodating. We learned so much during our tour of the town of Gettysburg and town residents ts who made practical contributions of time and various skills during the three day battle.

Gettysburg battles in town

Learning about what the towns people went through during the battle brought battle to life for me. Rob was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The stories of individual people and what they did during the battle; their bravery was remarkable.

Noisy bad tour.

It was a very busy street and had a terrible time hearing the guide. The guide was very soft spoken and we missed at least half of what was said. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Alex was absolutely wonderful! He was knowledgeable, entertaining, helpful, and a fantastic guide. The 7 of us had an amazing time and it was the perfect precursor to the 2 hour bus tour of the battlefield.

And the back alleys that most visitors would not have seen.
