We recommend that customers make their own way to our dive shop at Main Beach so that they will have time to explore the Marina, shops, and local area after their dive or snorkel. Our Dive shop is a 5min Uber ride from Surfers Paradise, the local bus stops at the marina and we have a free car park for customers who are driving themselves. We can provide return transfers from select Surfers Paradise hotels (call 07 5526 7722 to find locations), please be aware that seats are limited.

What To Expect

Your snorkeling adventure begins with a pick-up from your Gold Coast hotel and a short transfer to Marina Mirage on Main Beach, where you’ll board the boat for Wave Break Island. After a 10-minute cruise, arrive on the island and get suited up for your snorkeling excursion.

Then, dive in to swim and snorkel amid a rainbow of exotic fish and other marine animals; pose for underwater photos (photos available to purchase at the end of the tour); and see how many different species of fish you can spot. If you tire of swimming, you can also float overhead on a boogie board or head to shore to relax on the beach.

After around 4 hours on the island, return to shore, where a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

This was on the cheaper side of snorkelling. We only got to swim in a very small area and saw maybe 3 to 4 fish varieties. Pick up and drop off was good and on time but only got to spend spent about 1.5 hrs in the water, the rest of the time was pick up on the boat and return.
