To experience going through the canyon, on the river, was so worth it! So amazing and so beautiful! Holly our tour guide, on the river, was knowledgeable and truly loved her job.
Even though the ride from Tusayan and back was long, my husband and I sat in the front and had a great time with the driver, Jonathan. Very informative and personable. Enjoyed this excursion from start to finish. What a memory to cherish!

Not a Grand Canyon Tour

We were disappointed with the excursion in total. The river raft experience was Fantastic. The views from the river were unbelievable. Although that seemed to be the trip. I fell it was oversold using the Grand Canyon in the description when in fact we only drove through the park with very limited and brief glimpses of the canyon with no stops. That was disappointing. We would have been better off driving to Page and just doing the river raft portion.

My ONLY complaint is our ticket from Viator has us meeting at the airport at 6:30, this wasn't the case, we had to drive to meet up with our driver.
Everything else was absolutely amazing.
Our driver Leslie was great, driving us in the fog on the winding roads. And what can you say about the views. So much beauty.
Would recommend to everyone. Check one off the bucket list.

A three week roadtrip to southwest national parks. What was great about this adventure is a full day break from driving yet still saw amazing sites to/from and also while on the boat. Terrific bus driver (John) and on the boat (Kelly).

Fantastic experience! Well worth it! The river raft ride was amazing, it was really hot that day, but that was expected and dressed accordingly.
Excellent tour of Glen Canyon but understand that this is not a float in the Grand Canyon

My son and I took this trip in July 2023 and we really enjoyed the experience. Our boat driver was friendly and knowledgeable and we were able to see the Glen Canyon and traverse an enjoyable stretch along the Colorado River.
It should be noted that aside from a brief photo stop along the East Rim in the morning that this ride is not a tour of the Grand Canyon, which was the impression that I had gotten when I booked it. Not to detract from what it was, but to point out what some may think this is.

This was a perfect trip for those that want to experience the canyons, but don't want a lot of exertion!
Beautiful day, the ride was beautiful. We saw some horses and goats, which was neat.
The bus trip to the entry site is about 3 hrs each way, which we didn't realize when we booked.
But other than that, it was exactly what we were looking for!

Pick up was 6:15 am at my hotel, holiday inn. Leslie, the driver was very attentive and caring. The hotel breakfast was closed so in the next stop for pick up he pointed out that there was time for me to buy a breakfast burrito for the ride. The ride going was two and a half hours and I was glad not to have to drive. The road needs work and I saw maybe only one gas station. They put a movie on but we asked the driver to save us from another Disney movie. There were no kids in our group. We arrived and you wear a hard hat for just 5 minutes until you arrive to your raft. The lunch was generous and tasty. There was water to drink in the raft. Our guide was wonderful, but I cannot remember her name. She gave us rags that we dipped in cold water as the trip was ending. It got very warm as you approach lees ferry. The sights are unbelievably gorgeous. The river was 50 degrees, so no chance of swimming. I was glad to wear my bathing suit under a swimsuit cover. The coach bus has a good bathroom. I slept part of the time coming and going. Definetly use the highest sunscreen possible. Bring a water bottle and snacks. The stop at the cameron trading post was short.20 minutes and the afternoon driver, Michael was rushing. His driving was too intense for my taste but we made it back safely. The drivers were switching shifts between grand canyon and lees ferry so that is why a different driver for the afternoon.
Overall it was amazing and worth every penny of the stiff price if you are flying in from Las Vegas or staying in the Grand Canyon. Otherwise if I had stayed in Page AZ the rafting trip is about a third of what I paid. Kudos to Wilderness River Tours. You guys were awesome. Great Trip! I was so happy to find this trip on Viator.

The float trip was great, guide was really good but the viewing of the Grand Canyon was from the bus window at highway speed (40-60 mph) and it was really expensive at over 600$ per couple. We were really expecting to at least stop and see the canyon for that much money. So I gave it a 3 liberally because of the great river guide.
So worth it!
