Marlon was Fantastic!

I had a wonderful experience driving from GUA to Panajachel. Byron was very helpful when I was having issues getting to the airport but my trip was saved with Marlon. He was kind, respectful, charismatic, and an entertaining driver. He was very nice, helpful and did everything to make sure I made it to my destination safely. As a solo traveler, Marlon made me feel safe and I'm so thankful he was patient and understanding with me when I was having issues arriving to the airport. Make sure you ask for Marlon!

Cannot recommend this enough for transport around Guatemala. Osmond was our driver for both ways (to and from the airport to Lake Atitlan) and he was great. He provided us history and other info through the somewhat long drive and was lovely. They are very communicative, always responsive and kept an eye on our flight which had some delays. We will definitely hire them again for future trips.

We used this shuttle company for 3 different transfers throughout our trip in Guatemala and had a great experience each time. Not only did we feel very safe on all the drives, our drivers were always on time, very friendly, and the vans were comfortable and clean. He let me know where we could stop to grab food, use the bathroom, etc. We had a great conversation about the history and culture of Guatemala and he gave me directions to get to the dock once we arrived in Panajachel. Outstanding experience! Unfortunately, I can't remember our driver's name because it was two weeks ago, but he was AWESOME! He was waiting right outside of the door with our name on a sign, got us quickly to the car and we were off. He was a very safe driver and his English was excellent! Wonderful experience for something that is generally not all that exciting. Very happy with the whole experience. He even stopped for lunch and a second potty break for my daughter with no issues. He was happy do whatever. Thank you for the seamless experience!

BEST way to get around!

Our driver Marlon was EXCELLENT. The whole experience, from start to finish, could not have been better! It’s always cool to be greeted at the airport by someone holding a sign with your name on it 😉 He expertly navigated through various traffic situations, both within the city and outside in more rural settings. My husband and I were both relieved that we did not attempt to rent a car and drive ourselves, as the conditions were quite different from what we’re used to. Marlon was very professional and friendly, and the nice vehicle had plenty of space and was very comfortable. Best of all though, he taught us so much during the drive – about local agriculture, language, food, and culture. He made several recommendations about tours, places to visit, and restaurant to try. Wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend.

I got picked up at the GUA airport arrival. Driver with a sign with my name on it, and he took me to an ATM first (my request), which is on the way to the van anyway. However, the ATM didn't work, so he stopped about halfway to the Lake Atitlan area to use the ATM. Unfortunately, that didn't work either. But I appreciate his efforts. It's a solid 3 hours ride from GUA to San Antonio Palopo. The driver is very good and I felt safe the whole time. Highly recommend this service!
