Antigua was amazing. The combination of colonial architecture, blossomed jacarandas and volcanic scenery was spectacular. Eduardo, my guide, provided detailed information of the city history and showed me the best spots. Highly recommend it.

This tour was so much fun that I extended it to a full day tour. I met some marvelous folks from around the globe. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot of history about Antigua. It's a beautiful town to wonder around. The group also enjoyed a lunch while in town and the food was amazing. Don't hesitate, just book this tour!

Excellent tour. Ruben is an excellent guide and very entertaining. He was amazingly informative and educated us about Antigua, Guatemala in general, the Mayan history as well as current maya customs and dress. Ask for Ruben and you will have an excellent tour of Antigua and Guatemala.

Rubén Alberto Alonzo was a great, friendly, very knowledgeable guide. He knows all the people in the town, has a lot of knowledge of history, art, and archaeology and is open to answering all questions. When he found out that it was my birthday he even gave me a small gift. He can also give restaurant and coffee shop tips.

Overall, good tour with very knowledgeable guide. The renovated covenant into a 5 star hotel was the first stop and best part of the tour. I’ve been to many Central American and Latin countries so I get like I could have just Ubered to Antigua and explored around myself and had just as much fun. Recommend if this is your first trip Guatemala and would like an experienced guide

Amazing Tour

Wow this tour was amazing. My guide's name was Jennifer who was very knowledgable about both Guatemala City and Antigua. They were very accommodating and flexible with my schedule and even offered to drop me off at my Airbnb and waited for my host to come to the home before leaving. I would highly recommend this in-depth tour to anyone visiting Guatemala.

Magnificent sights and history in Antigua

This was my first time booking an excursion through Viator. The process was straight forward and relatively simple. The Tour team were punctual and friendly. The guide was everything we had hoped knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. She involved us in discussion and explanation through out the tour recommending excellent services outside of the tour and ideas that we could use else where if we were to return. This tour is well worth the money and the time. It takes you back in time and is an excellent break from the hustle of the outside world.

My Favorite Excursion

This by far was my favorite excursion in Guatemala. Our tour guide, Cesar, was very verse in the history of the area. He wasn't rushed trough the various sites and venues, but still kept us on schedule. We learned about the first churches and monasteries. We also learned about the changes that occurred after the earthquake in the 1700s. We learned about the history of jade in the Mayan culture as well as rum in the Guatemalan culture. Great excursion!
