Great tour for anyone with limited time !

My tour guide for the day was Jorge and driver Dormario. They were both excellent. Jorge provided a wealth of knowledge about Antigua and gave enough time in each destination to move at your own pace.

Good: - Friendly tour guide and driver - Great trip to Hobbitenango with ample time to enjoy the surroundings and take pictures, and very patient tour guide who helps take your pictures as well - Enjoyable trip to the small town Antigua, and private tour guide helped navigate to a few spots I wanted to check out more in-depth at a leisurely pace - Smooth logistics overall for the day Room for improvement: - I explained this to my tour guide as well - the included "Premium Lunch" was an unfortunate disappointment. Food is incredibly important to me, and I had very limited meal options during my short stay in Guatemala and really wanted to try some local cuisine instead of the generic meal that was "included". I couldn't eat half the food that was "included" aka pre-paid. For example, the included hibiscus tea was way too sweet and undrinkable, and the restaurant ended up charging me $2 USD out of pocket for water. Aside from a generic chicken and rice entree, the dessert was simply vanilla ice cream which I never order anywhere. I ended up finding a bakery nearby to eat something else instead. The prepaid "premium lunch" just seemed like a waste in terms of both money, time, and my meal opportunities. It would've been much better if the tour gave better local options or just let me get my own lunch instead.

Had a great time on this tour! Our tour guide Winston was very knowledgeable! Hobbitenango is a must see if you are visiting Guatemala and I highly recommend doing the swing while you are there! Wish the tour didn’t feel so rushed and we had a bit more time to explore Antigua but overall we had a great time!

When visiting Guatemala, you must definitely go to both. Those locations are incomparable. Antigua is a nearly 500-year-old colonial city with a rich history, vibrant color, and vibrant culture and life. Hobbitenango is a village in the land of the hobbits that will make you feel like you're in the movie. This place is full of beautiful spots for photos, valley views, nature, games, and a thousand other things. we had a very nice tour. ruben was our tour guide, he is very kind, knowledgeable and told us a lot of guatemalan history. carlos our driver was also nice. hobbitenango is a relaxing place and antigua is full of history.

We only had 2 days in Guatamala City, this was the perfect experience for us! We got to visit Hobbitenango and take in the full experience. Then we went to Antigua, learn about the culture and history of the Mayans. Our guide was very knowledgeable! Bring comfortable shoes for the walking tour as the roads are cobblestone! Lunch was included which was a plus for us! Highly recommend.

What an amazing park and city! Hobbitenango was such a fun experience - felt mythical. Volcanos surrounding the area gave quite the back drop and even witnessed one of them erupting. Antigua has so much history and beautiful buildings. Winston was so knowledgeable and personable - definitely made the experience so rich! Would recommend this trip and Winston to anyone looking into this tour.

Hobbitengango is a mythical place in the highlands of Antigua. This is the ideal place to visit for all those Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit fans not only for the hobbit-like houses, but the nature, and movie-like games. Antigua is a colonial city beautifully preserved through the passing of time. Getting to know this place in the company of an experienced tour guide is the best you can do so you can fully appreciate all the beauty behind each convent, church, and edification. Had amazing tour guys that were very informative and showed me all that Guatemala had to offer. The only downfall was the weight for the hobbitenango excursion makes the trip there pointless as you wait for an hour for a short time left to actually enjoy the place, not sure how this could be fixed as it’s out of the tour guides control but overall a very eventful tour.

This tour was amazing! My guides, Astrid and Pablo, were so kind, sweet, knowledgeable, and professional. I learned so much about Antigua and took some awesome photos! La vue de hobbitenango est superbe! On nous accueil avec la musique du film le hobbit (génial, ça nous met dans l’ambiance) ,mais une fois l'accueil passé, il n'y a plus rien de hobbit sinon les petites maisons qui sont en fait des restaurants. Bel endroits, mais on a vite fait le tour, mais si vous vouez relaxer, manger un morceaux, avec une vue magnifique, c'est le bon endroit. Pour la ville d'Antigua, elle est vraiment magnifique, Nous avons visité la fabrique de jade (vraiment intéressante!!) Il y a beaucoup de superbes église. (ATTENTION: vous devez être en pantalon pour y entrer, short interdit!!). Mention spécial à notre guide Andréa qui nous parlais français!
