From the front door pick up at our hotel to the kindness & patience of our guide, this trip was awesome. The van was clean & comfortable, the information was valuable and the views and people were amazing. The lake is beautiful and a must do activity.

Fun Experience
Ruth A, Jan 2020
It was very fascinating to go into the communities of the various Mayan societies. It was a good boat ride across Lake Atitlan. Panajchel and the Santiago Village were each full of culture and history. During this journey we happened to spend a lot of time with street vendors and dining venues with the objective of returning business to the community which I appreciate. It was a good excursion, however, I would have enjoyed a little more history or direct interaction with members of the Mayan culture.

Drive from guatemala city to the lake was through very scenic route. Took 3 hrs. The lake and its communities are diverse, artistic and deep in culture. Weather was kind, mild and cloudy.
