Hike to yummy pizza

Loved hiking up the volcano and watching him make a pizza at the end. Also had a blast roasting marshmallows with my local tour guide.

This tour combines a Guatemala City tour with an experience at Pacaya volcano. It was completely worth the cost. Our tour guide Esteban was a chill knowledgeable local who spoke fluent English. We enjoyed learning about the cultural and political history of Guatemala, the street food in the historic center, and the variety of goods for sale at Mercado central de Guatemala. The latter part of the tour took us on an exhilarating hike at the Pacaya volcano. We hiked to the base camp and on the lava field, where we explored the landscape, roasted marshmallows, and baked an impressively delicious pizza in the lava stone oven! We had an amazing and adventurous day. I highly recommend this tour. It’s worth the money.
