Excellent river cruise at river Elbe. Tour guide was in German so be prepared. Mobile app in English was unreliable so I recommend highly for german speakers. 1 hour tour was enough to enjoy the wonderful weekend day in Hamburg!

The guy we first spoke to was very Informative and explained the two options available to us. We chose the one we thought was going to take us through the old town however it didn't really go very far in before turning around and heading back to the main river. We then got taken past some large containers and a few boats before heading back. The boat was comfortable and the staff friendly however we were unable to download the android app which would have provided an English translation of what was being said as it was built for an older version of android and didn't work. This made most of this pretty difficult as we had not idea what the significance of the boats was. All it all it was still a good way to spend an hour and I would recommend

No English audio mentioned. The guide said that he would answer any questions that I may have but didn't see him again until we docked. Pretty pointless. Maybe busier than Rotterdam. I don't know. Highlight was the bar staff drinking beer.

Absolutely perfect experience & worth all the cost. The ship is big & spacious, I was lucky to grab a good spot. Just the weather can be quite "flexible", you should bring a hat & a jacket because it will be sunny & quite cold at the same time when the ship is more in the middle.

We were looking forward to this boat tour! We’ve done them in other cities & have enjoyed them…till this one. Part of the package was to include being able to purchase head-sets so that we could hear the tour in English. The man at the gate informed us there were no head-sets to purchase…he actually seemed confused by the notion. I was able to decipher some of what was being said as I am currently learning Deutsch, but I couldn’t exactly tell my husband what was being said because then it would disrupt the group. We couldn’t take any photos because of the water on the windows…and even the dry parts of the windows were streaked to the point that the photos were ruined. We were so happy we only picked the 1 hour tour!

One is done with the small boats called BARKASSE, which cross the canals (called FLEETE) of the Speicherstadt, and the ships instead which pass through the container terminals. Your voucher gives you the opportunity to choose between these two possibilities before departure. However, I think that the trip to the container terminals was the right choice, since the canals of the Speicherstadt can also be visited on foot or by car without problems, while the container terminal is only possible by sea. Too short tour, exactly like a taxi boat but more expensive + no english traduction even if they said so.. it's through their application that doesn't work..so i didn't learn a lot about the port
