    We had an awesome day! Malcolm was an phenomenal guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and knew a lot of history. The Caves were spectacular. Such a huge cavern and our Tour guide Tim did an outstanding job. Tahune was beautiful. To walk the skybridge was inspiring to see the foliage growing again. We really recommend this tour!

    Hastings Caves-A Hidden Gem

    The caves were truly wonderful. A hidden gem in the mountains. Well worth the visit to this National Park, even though the Thermal pools were not as expected. I was envisioning natural rock pools. The Tahune Adventure Centre was tremendous. More time here and less time at the Thermal pools would make this trip perfect.

    Hi Janelle. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you were surprised by the thermal pool. We have previously also had this feedback and include photos of the pool area to avoid any surprises. Many of our guests still enjoy the 15 minute walk around the cool temperature rainforest from the pool area. We agree this area holds many hidden gems that most tourists are not aware of. That is why this is our favourite day tour from Hobart!

    Excellent tour. Gerrard was very knowledgeable. He pointed out all the highlights while driving in between the attractions. He described the history of all the local area. The tour was very personal, with Gerrard allowing stop offs as and when required for photo opportunities and refreshments. The caves themselves were jaw droppingly beautiful. Such a unique natural wonder. The hot springs were a little chillier than I was expecting but that was more than made up for with the open fires to warm up next to after. The Tahune airwalk was amazing. So thrilling to be up high in the trees. Also well worth doing the longer bushwalk to the swinging bridges. Great scenery following the river. All in all we had a great day out.
