Traveller Tips

This tour is a great to get to three wonderful tourist attractions without the hassle of hiring a car and driving there yourself.
This is a don't miss tour; it covers the highlights of the Hobart area.
It was zero degrees and sooo windy at Mt Wellington, but great.

A great day outdoors

Jared was an amazing tour guide. Punctual and told great stories and histories throughout the whole trip.
Fantastic way to see Tasmania!!

This was honestly one of the best day tours I’ve ever done! The sites were plentiful and beautiful, and our guide was super friendly and extremely accommodating! (We were travelling with a little one and needed a few concessions along the way.) I’d highly recommend this tour as a great way to see Tasmania, especially if you’re short on time.
Great Full Day of Highlights

What a gorgeous place and this tour gave us nature and animals all in one. The Tall Trees and waterfall walk was simply stunning and a great start to the tour. The wildlife sanctuary was fantastic-we got to feed a kangaroo! Richmond is a beautiful town and the views on Mt Wellington were breathtaking. We loved every minute and Jarrod was a fantastic, informative guide.
A great way to be introduced to Tasmania.

We really enjoyed our walk in Mt. Field National Park. A couple of members of our group have walking issues but this walk was perfect - wondrous trees, wide, flat trail, and only having to walk downhill. :) Bonorong Sanctuary is not the type of facility we would usually visit, but we were impressed with their dedication to the critters and commitment to “releasing “ back to the wild those who can survive. We enjoyed visiting Richmond and the climb up Mt. Wellington, but the first two activities I wrote about were our favourites.
Wonderful Day in Nature

Rusell Falls is unbelieveable spectecular, as is top of Mt. Wellington. Learning about Australiain wildlife.
Wonderful Tour
Debra_M, Mar 2023
The entire day was wonderful! Mt. Wellington was frigid and windy but worth it! Our guide was smart enough to re-organize the sequence of the day to try to avoid afternoon rain and get us to all our stops seamlessly. The rains did come and we got a bit soggy, but still experienced all that was offered! Had a great time and would highly recommend!
Awesome day trip

Definitely recommend this day trip around Hobart where you can have a bit of everything: hiking, sightseeing, visit historical places, and try the local food. A great guide tour provides info and tips all along the way.
Fantastic,, right balance...
Andrew_K, Mar 2023
Fantastic,, right balance between nature and history worth going and it was not a rush of a day we had plenty of time do stop and take all the photos we wanted and take our time
Amazing tour.

Amazing tour. A long day but worth it. Our driver Jared was great with insightful comments through the day. For us, Bonorong was the highlight. We enjoyed the walk and waterfalls at Mt Fields as well as the lunch in Richmond. Mt Wellington was cold with high winds. Great view but weather didn't cooperate
What a day
Cheryl_B, Mar 2023
Jared was a wonderful guide. Each stop was uniquely different and thoroughly amazing. We walked in a beautiful rainforest, fed kangaroos and learned about the Tasmanian devils and wombats, we had lunch in a lovely small town and then drove to the top of Mt. Wellington for a breathtaking view. I couldn't recommend this tour more.
Very good
Katerina_T, Mar 2023
Very good tour highlighting the top things. Very good if you only have one day. Left earlier that the time at some spots because everyone finished early, even though we had more time and some people wanted to see some things still.
Lovely tour
Dulce_B, Mar 2023
It was a lovely tour! Really enjoyed it! I recommend it. Jared was really nice and was always telling us history about Tasmania
Worthy!

Nice guide. We saw the most meaningful and beautiful landscapes from Bruni Island. The timing was right, highly recommend and trustworthy
can be more than a driver
Tony_L, Mar 2023
the tour guide looks like as a driver rather than a helper... it can be better to put us together....
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hey Tony, Your review is referring to the start of the tour. You were the last pick up for the day, and I saved 2 seats for you at the front of the vehicle next to me. There was one remaining seat in the back next to another traveller. When I picked you up I open the front door and said "there are 2 seats up front for you" your friend opened the back to get in the single seat there. I said again there are 2 up the front. I then said "it will be more comfortable up front togther" you said "OK, OK, OK, ok". I couldn't understand why you didn't want to sit together. At the next stop your friend chose to sit in the front with you for the rest of the day. It's a shame that a simple misunderstanding resulted in this negative review. We understand people that booked together want to sit together and we make sure that happens, I tried to make that happen on your tour but a breakdown in language or your presumption that there was only 1 seat in the front resulted in this review.
Fantastic Tour - A must for first time visitors.
melly_b, Mar 2023
The whole tour package is excellent, though I’m not keen on walking (referred to the Tall Tree walk).😍👍
We will do this again, and hopefully it won’t be a white out at the top of Mount Wellington, but I am so grateful we tr.

This was a very merry memorable experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get a good overview of the beauty of Tasmania. Jared was awesome and very knowledgeable. Thank you very much. Edward and Bonnie.
Highly recommended. Worthwhile a visit.

Loved this tour, especially the Russell Falls and Mt Wellington. Our tour guide Kalum was excellent. Very informative and knowledgeable about the sights and sounds of the tour.
Great time by all
Shane_M, Feb 2023
Tour guide Callum was fantastic. He went out of his way to make our experience fabulous. All 4 spots well worth visiting. Small group tour made it more enjoyable.
Fabulous driver Gerard...
Kathleen_C, Feb 2023
Fabulous driver Gerard with lots if interesting history. If you want people to answer this, get rid of the 100 characters Min.
The most memorable will...
Lydia_L, Feb 2023
The most memorable will be a walk through the forest on Mt Field and the views from Mt Wellington. Instead of sanctuary would prefer some other attraction.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hey Lydia, As mentioned on the day it is best to join the 11.30am tour at Bonorong where there is a guide from the sanctuary who takes you to meet a wombat, devil and an echidna. They give you loads of information about the animals individual story, reproductive system, habitat, diet and much more. There is so much to learn about Australian mammals on the tour, even for Australians. Your choice to skip the tour may have resulted in you not enjoying your time there as much. Many guests especially international guests rate it as the highlight of the tour, and locals enjoy learning their stories and information provided on the tour.
