We enjoyed everything, possibly the best was the lady in the separate prison, she was a font of information, and we loved the 2 photos of the ghosts she showed us, all the staff were extremely pleasant, and nothing was to much for them 100%, and we loved driving backwards!!! haha

Journey back in time at Port Arthur Historic Site

There was never a dull moment on our full-day Port Arthur Historic Site Tour. My partner and I arrived at 9:30 am and departed at 4:30 pm, and throughout the day we always had something to see and do. We covered almost everywhere on the grounds that was open to the public, on top of doing the included 45 minute guided tour and harbour cruise. I didn’t get to do the Isle of the Dead Tour when I last visited the Port Arthur Historic Site 13 years ago, so we did the tour this time. It was well worth the price we paid and we enjoyed getting to step foot on the Isle and see all the ancient gravestones. Being driven to Port Arthur Historic Site provided us with the convenience we needed to get to and from the site safely while having a nap on the way there and back after a long day exploring the grounds. I’d definitely recommend this tour as a convenient way to see Port Arthur Historic Site.
