We provide accurate interpretation, and keep wildlife disturbance to a minimum by viewing from appropriate distances and informing our guests how to view wildlife with patience and respect. Activities are always confined to tracks and boardwalks to minimize negative impacts.

Hotel pickup time is between 7:00am and 7:30am depending on your location. Hotel pickup is available from select central city Hotels and Hostels ( no AirBnB’s). Please arrange pickup from your hotel at least 48 hours prior to departure with the tour operator.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful. He managed to changed the cave tour and the thermal pool times around which was much better. Would highly recommend this to anyone interested in caves and/or tree top walks.

A first rate adventure

One of the best tours I've undertaken. Trevor is a first rate guide and provides comprehensive and enthusiastic insight into the areas/towns/environments travelled through, especially re the local flora, which is incredible. Both the airwalk and Newdegate cave are amazing experiences. The whole day was an absolute joy. Essential!

The experience was great! If you’d like walking this is the one to go for. If you’re not a regular walker or elderly, you might find it a little difficult. The tour guide Nick was excellent, very thorough and calm. We wish we had more time enjoying the hot thermal pool. If they could fit this event to the trip would be great. Highly recommended.

We all had a great time but the stairs are a killer. Lots of walking but for our group in our senior years we found the stairs very difficult to navigate. We all slept well when we got back to our hotel.

Great tour and a very skilled and knowledgeable local tour guide Ash. Started off with a short drive from Hobart to the park. The air walk gave you a different perspective of the forest. Be sure to do the full walk around the park to experience the bridges over the river. And then a short drive out to Hastings cave. Met with staff that work specifically at the cave from the park. They are extremely knowledgeable of all facets of the cave and the history. Walked us through all chambers of the cave. Pictures turned out phenomenal. The age of the cave and the beauty within are mind blowing. You definitely will enjoy this tour. Thank you Ash.

The tour was absolutely fun and the amazing scenic trip is a win-win by itself. Our guide Nick is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the local history and aspects of nature that it is contagious. We travel with two teenage daughters and the family loved every minute of it. From the beginning of our day, when our incredible tour guide, Luke, picked us up, the vibe was very friendly and relaxed. Luke was very knowledgeable yet unpretentious, and very likeable - thank you, Luke, for a fabulous day!! The Tahune Airwalk and swinging bridges walks were incredible, with beautiful views of forest and river. Hastings Caves were spectacular - hopefully you get Simon as your cave tour guide too, as he was brilliant - a respectful and genuine acknowledgement of country, insightful cave information, and good humour. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the “thermal pool” - it is basically just a swimming pool with kids running around everywhere... not very peaceful at this time of year haha! But instead of swimming in the pool, there are options of nice, easy walks to take around the pool site instead (unfortunately the platypus was very elusive). The day was topped off by a visit to an amazing honey shop, with bees to observe, and honey whiskey to try (definitely try it! Amazing.).

A well worth trip to take when you are in Hobart. The company contacted us prior to the trip to confirm the pick up location and time. The pick up on the day was smooth. Although the driver/ tour guide Nick is young, he is very experience, friendly and knowledgeable, especially in the fauna and flora of the bush. He took the time to know everyone and our names and make sure that he spend time with each and everyone of us. A very commendable attitude. We enjoyed the trip very much.

A varied day of scenery and activities. The airwalk is great and make sure you do the extra walk down via the suspension bridges. The pool at the springs was a bit disappointing, just looks like a surburban public pool, could do with some better landscaping. And then a change of pace with the caves.

I liked this day trip because it was a very active day. The tour was about 10 hours long and we only spent about 2-3 hours on the bus altogether. Dan was one of the best tour guides I've ver had. He was very knowledgeable and easy-going. The Tahune Airwalk was the highlight of my day and I am glad we got to do it, even though the weather didn't look that promising. The Hastings Caves were nice but I've seen better caves before Jenovlan Caves.
