My driver was excellent! He was early, let me sit up front, helped with my things. We had great conversation! I appreciated meeting him and the excellent service. The timing was perfect with picking up two other couples. Drop off was perfect spot. I would recommend the company provide stools to help those of us who need them to get into higher van.

Extremely disappointed, poor service

Extremely disappointed, I confirmed via email/call that pick up is at 0700, they never showed until I called them, they said 0745, she went on to say I lied, even with my proof of email. I contacted Viator and they were no help either with issuing a refund. Don't even book via this site or this company book directly or use a taxi/uber more reliable

Unprofessional shuttle company

Only reason I booked with VIP Tours is that I had some credit on VIATOR and this shuttle was the best price. I called the night before and confirmed my pick up time. The day of the shuttle was late and I called the company. They were rude and unprofessional and said I had a different pick up time. When I said I called and confirmed the time they said I never called and hung up on me. I would not use this service ever again. Go with and reputable company that cares about there customers

We weren't advised of a pickup time and had to phone. Thought the time was late considering the time it takes to get through check-in and customs. The driver did not drop us at Hawaiian Airlines, so it took us half an hour to find out where we were supposed to be.

Issues regarding pick up time for international flight

The cost was acceptable but the pick up time booked was not acceptable as I needed to be at airport at least 3 hours earlier. I was lucky to get on an earlier transport from my hotel, but even then it was less than 3 hours before international departure. There needs to be more efficiency during the transport booking and advice regarding the approximate pick up times as not knowing is very stressful and no phone numbers to contact.

Since we had an early morning flight we needed picking up from our hotel and 4am and, naturally, had some concerns if the transport did not arrive on time. However, we were collected before the appointed time and quickly and efficiently transported to the airport.

I was caught up in traffic before returning to my hotel for my 12:30 pickup. I called the company asking for a favor -- to have the driver wait for me in case I was late. I don't know whether the driver had ever received that message. He only had one other pickup before me, arrived at 12:36 pm, and then had the good sense to avoid the road work that had created the road congestion. It was just 3 passengers in a clean minivan & a fast drive to the airport. My only minor gripe is that he dropped all 3 off us at the same spot, which was the other couple's airline so I had to walk a bit further with my luggage. Other than that, the driver was quite corteous & thanked me by my name.

Frustrating departure confirmation process

I received the booking reference info on my phone and was instructed to call and confirm VIP trans shuttle to pick up from the hotel to the HNL airport. The agent that answered the phone told me that they did not have my name nor the booking reference number. I was told to call Viator and that they did not have the number. The agent was abrupt and unhelpful. I messaged Viator & tried to get a refund and cancel but was going to be charged the full amount of the service so it was not a full refund at all. Finally daughter stepped in and called the shuttle service VIP trans again and this time they had the booking reference and confirmed our pick up at the hotel. Very frustrating! VIP trans Inc messaged me later that they apologize for whoever answer my call and that they had the reservation. Whoever answers your phones should be fully trained in customer service and not ruin the efforts of the rest of your team.
