My friend booked the same trip a couple days before I did. Thinking I would get the same small passenger boat for what I paid, I ended up on the larger boat that holds about 30 people. I paid almost 950 pecos for the day trip and that included 4 small beers, pick up and drop off at hotel. The tourist beside me from the US paid less, about 400 pecos less and packed her own lunch for the beach day. Restaurants on the beach are over priced. Chachacual is a nice location to snorkel. 200 pecos for the umbrella and chairs but walk down further and the shaded spots with the older looking umbrellas are half the price. The tour itself is good but for what I got, the value wasn't there.

Nice day, but lacking privacy and charm
maia_l, Jan 2021
This tour was not quite what we expected. We boarded a large boat at the port with about 30 people, and were taken to a beach with about 5 other very large boats for snorkeling. I don't know what the reefs are generally like in the area but this one was not incredibly impressive. We were expecting a smaller boat and a more secluded snorkeling experience. We were taken to another busy beach for lunch. All in all it was a nice day but definitely a more commercial, crowded experience than we were hoping for.

Dear Amigo We are very sorry for your experience. However, the reservation of this tour is shared, so it is a group of some families.Thank you very much for your comments.
Awesome natural sightseeing trip

Excellent excursion and the guide Jose and his boat crew were very friendly, courteous and patient with all the quests. Only setback was the restaurant Gran Cameron didn't meet up our expectations but otherwise decent and great serving staff.

These boat trips are always fun, but we were a little weary afterwards when they dropped us off. It seemed pretty random who picked up who as we were in a different van. Overall, the experience was pretty great. Maybe a little too much time for lunch, but we saw a whale on our trip back in.

We were given a meeting point but when we arrived even the local Mexican taxi drivers did not know where it was. We had to travel an hour away from our accommodation to only find that there was no one there to meet us, as therefore missed the boat. Highly irritated by this whole day.

We really like this trip the guys who ran the tour were excellent !, the only problem is they did not give us a time for the pick up at the hotel and we waited a really long time you need to call the hotel and tell people what time you're going to be there the number on the site print out was not local ,do not charge for drinks we paid $18 extra and everyone got drinks anyway four and a half stars
