My Wife and I took this class cooking class in Huatulco. We took the Friday class - making tortillas, sopes, and salsa. Loved the introduction by Jane the instructor. Learned about the culture and the surrounding area. Only 5 in the class which made it more personal. Also made Jamica margaritas which I made some when I got home. They are amazing and refreshing. Jane also emailed us the recipes of everything we made that day. A taxi will pick you up at your hotel and bring you back after the 3 1/2 hour class. Highly recommend this experience.

This was so much fun! It was the highlight of our time in Huatulco. Not only did we prepare an amazing and delicious meal, but we learned about history and culture of the region. Loved that this class was hands-on! Jane instructor is fantastic!!! She explained the recipes and what we were to do in a easy-to-understand way. She has so much knowledge of the area, it was like taking a cooking class combined with an anthropology class. If you are looking for something unique/ fun/ interesting to do when you are in Huatulco, check this cooking class out---you will be so glad you did!!

Four of us were lucky enough to take the Mexican Street Food workshop with Jane and her wonderful staff. It was a terrific experience that was only enhanced by Jane's knowledge of the area and her willingness to share that with us.
