Begin your tour by riding up to the peak of a mountain — enjoy the waterfall at the summit before continuing through the rain forest. Stop to take in the view and enjoy a cool drink along the way.
Then, continue toward the Tulin River for a waterfront lunch in a rural town. Climb through a number of small villages, and then descend to the beach where you can ride along the coast at sunset and enjoy refreshments at a beachside bar.
Return to central Jaco at the end of your tour.
ATV Adventure Tours Costa Rica
The tour begins in the mountains directly behind Jacó, and continues roughly half the distance to the peak of the mountain to a beautiful 35ft. waterfall (Cascada del Zorro) – a perfect spot to get a little wet and take some photos.
After the brief stop, we continue up through primary rainforest and above the canopy to the top of the mountain range. Just beyond the crest of the mountain lies a beautiful mirador offering views of the ocean playing against sands as far south as Manuel Antonio, as far west as the Nicoya Peninsula, and as far north as the port city of Puntarenas.
2 hours • Admission Ticket Included
Quebrada Amarilla
We enjoy a cool drink with the view, and then continue along the ridgeline of the mountains that offer more incredible views of this pristine area. This primary rainforest leads the way towards the mountains that surround Playa Hermosa.
After stopping off at one more epic viewpoint, we descend the mountains of La Gloria toward the Tulin River to our river-side lunch spot in the small rural town of Mata de Platano.
Once fed, we start a new climb through the similarly small and remote villages of Montelimar, Angostura, Pavona and San Gabriel before passing through Las Delicias (population: 39) famous for its ATV and motocross rallies.

10/10 experience! What a day! Our guide Jesse was super friendly and the company itself was great to deal with. The tour is exactly as advertised. Waterfall, lunch and even a few stops along the way for some authentic Costa Rican moonshine! This was the perfect way to see the countryside of Jaco and many small towns you normally wouldn't pass through. This is a great way to spend a full day and experience all of Jaco!

My friends and I were able to get this as a private tour, just the 3 of us. That was awesome. We rode the ATVs all over, down to a waterfall, onto a part of the beach that was secluded. It was one of the best times of the whole trip. Definitely recommend this excursion for anyone thinking about ATVing in Jaco Beach.

I've done both the 4 hour and 6 hour tour. The 4 hour is all you need and is actually much better in my opinion as far as where you ride
Beautiful, challenging experience!

Alan our tour guide could not have been better. He took us on quite a tour across rivers, through some treacherous roads and some fantastic cantinas! Super ribs for lunch and wonderful refreshments along the way. We loved every minute but were exhausted at the end of our day.

This tour was incredible! our guide took us all over, extending far into the jungle with so many little towns and unique things to see. It was a great change of scene from the beach town we're staying in. The waterfall was out of a post card, and felt amazing after a couple hours of ATV action. It was intense and long, but so so fun. definitely would recommend to friends. We loved the staff and the company so much that we booked a second tour through them! Such friendly and helpful people.

OMG!!! Seven and a half hours of pure fun and adventure!! If you are staying around Jaco, we were in Quepos, and want a thrilling adventure, use Adventure Tours in downtown Jaco. Carmen and Mark were amazing guides taking us through the river several times, up and down the mountain, and sitting in the waterfalls!! All skill levels can enjoy this tour. We stopped three times, once for lunch and the other times at two local bars for your favorite beverage. It was very easy to book online and the staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly. All four of us would highly recommend this tour company!!
