I would recommend 100%. Our guide was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot of stuff about chocolate. I particularly enjoyed the tasting experience throughout the transformation process and our guide got us involved at many steps. Also, the adventure park where they host the chocolate tour is AMAZING!! From canyoning, to horseback riding, zip lining, vtt tours, chocolate tour...you have it all at the same spot. I think you can also stage a "will you marry me" as part of the ziplining experience. That must be pretty cool and unexpected!! Very good restaurant on site as well and a nice souvenir boutique. Thanks for the great time!

The entire experience was great, from seeing the cocoa pods on trees and learning how they grow to participating in the cocoa processing to tasting the final product. Would highly recommend.

Making Chocolate-short unique experience

We made chocolate straight from the cocoa bean and were able to participate in the process and try the chocolate at each stage, and try the drink of the gods! This experience was not like any other. It took about 2 hours and we got lunch included! The food was great! I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a unique experience that only takes a few hours. Our tour guide had so much information, it was such a great learning experience!

Exactly what you would hope for when taking a chocolate tour. Learned about the plant, flower and pod, then learned about the multiple stages the cocoa goes through to become chocolate - and tried it at each stage. Delicious tour :)

This was a fantastic tour and highly recommend. Very informative and fun. Our tour operator Roberto was very fun and knowledgeable. Took his time to explain the entire process and allowed lots of interaction from the guests. We had lots of opportunities to be involved in the chocolate making process. Lots of hands on. Not sure why some reviews said otherwise. Very great tour company to work with.
