A great way to get the most out of Manuel Antonio national park

We had a great tour! Safe driving by Juan, our friendly driver, and an excellent tour leader in Adie, who showed us many things we never would have been able to see. He spotted several 2-toed and 3-toes sloths for us, and set up his telescope so we could get a good look. He showed us black iguanas, annoles, and lots of flora and fauna Toward the end of the tour we came across a large group of howler, white-faced, and squirrel monkeys that were jumping around in the trees right in front of us. It was spectacular! The swim at the beach was also a great way to cool off at the end. We highly recommend this trip!

We enjoyed this tour very much! Our guide Andre was great! He was fun and knowledgeable and made sure we saw plenty of animals! The beach was really fantastic - we swam and saw many monkeys. The lunch was delicious and was at a nice restaurant with a great view. There was a lot of driving but it was well worth it!

Best way to see it all

This trip was incredible for seeing a lot in a short period. I was picked up in Jaco and was able to view the coastline while traveling by van to the park. The driver stopped to allow me to use the restroom (something I was worried about drinking so much water). Upon arrival, immediately saw monkeys at the entrance! The guide was great and used his gear to point out lizards, insects and interesting items. The real gem was once we got close to the beach. There were several sloths but they were up high and not easily seen. The monkeys however were everywhere! Many opportunities to take photos, videos and selfies. We were given about 40 minutes to explore alone and I chose to continue hiking. I felt perfectly safe as a solo female traveler. After leaving the park, we stopped for lunch which was tasty and included in the price. (I wish I would have ordered more and paid separately.) The your included transportation to and from Jaco, which not all tours do, so this made it very easy. Overall, loved it. You can go to the park alone but having a guide makes it a lot more interesting and fun

If you are in the area of this park, this a great place to start your sightseeing adventures. The park is beautiful and contains a multitude of flora and fauna, including sloths, monkeys, birds of all kinds, snakes, bats, caiman, and coati. The hiking is all on well-worn trails and while it can be hot and humid, it's not terribly challenging. It's more of a brisk walk than a hike. Best of all, our guide - Roger - spotted everything. It was like he had ESP and could see things that normall human beings cod not. Roger is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and really made the experience awesome. Highly recommend the tour, highly recommend the tour guide!

We had an enjoyable day in the national park. Our guide Jovanna was fantastic - enthusiastic and eager to share her love of nature and her country with us. Didn't see any great variety of animals, but the sloths and monkeys we did see were great.

Best tour ever! If you like animals and taking pictures you’ll like this tour. We got to see some cool animals such as lizards, monkeys, bats, snakes, spiders one last but not least sloths. Jovanna was an amazing tour guide very informative and gave us some history of Costa Rica along the way to the park. Overall a great experience would definitely recommend! Also the beach was one of my favorite parts.

Even though this was a highly touristy expedition, it was well worth it. Our guide was so fantastic. She saw native animals that we never would have noticed on our own. We saw monkeys, sloths, unique birds, unique frogs and lizards. The walk through the jungle was beautiful and relaxing. The beach was gorgeous and so clear. An authentic journey through the beautiful vegetation of Costa Rica. With our tour group we got to also enjoy a stop at a local bakery with authentic bakery goods as well as a special iconic place for lunch. We had an outstanding view during lunch.

Had an amazing tour with Jovanna and our drivers. Jovanna was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and amazing! She even offered us her sunscreen since we forgot ours at the hotel. She took our photos, watched over our belongings while at the beach, and did not rush us at all. Amazing tour, and will highly recommend to all my friends. 5/5 stars!!!

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on. The park was absolutely beautiful, and we saw so many animals. Our guide, Jovana, knew so much about the flora and fauna. She was able to spot animals hiding in the most difficult to find places. Her enthusiasm was incredible, and her love for the animals and her country was contagious. We were so pleased with the whole experience!

The most memorable part of our tour other than being in Nature was that our tour guide was extraordinary, very helpful and knowledgeable. All the people involved we very friendly and courteous. The lunch at the end of the day was very nice and we couldn’t ask for a better group of 10, my family managed to make friends with several people from our trip. I could not ask for anything better! Great job to everyone involved and hope to see you again!

A nice leisurely day in...

A nice leisurely day in the park. Jovanna was our guide with Juan doing the driving. Jovanna was amazing, very knowledgeable and very good at spotting the different animals. We had about an hour or so to stop at the beach which is within the park. She stood by and watched our things while we frolicked in the water. On our way back we had lunch (included in price) at The Avión restaurant, and that was just an amazing place. The view, the food, the plane, everything was great. En route back to our Airbnb, Juan the driver, was kind enough to take us to a souvenir place before dropping us off. Highly recommend.

Go see the monkeys

Joanna was our guide an Alex was our driver. They picked us up in Jaco from our designated area in front of the Best Western. They arrived at the scheduled time and then we took a 90 min ish drive to the Park. Joanna led a delightful conversation for the drive and answered any of the questions we had. On arrival at the park she led the hike, but prompted us at every fork in the road, and wanted to make sure we had the best experience possible. She also had incredible eyes. She found animals none of the other guides even picked up on. During this trip we saw two kinds of moneys, two kinds of sloths, a white tails deer, raccoons, central American raccoons, bats, lizards, iguanas, toucan, and a few other birds. Toward the end of your trip you will hit the secluded beach and she was gracious enough to watch our stuff. Recommend packing beach clothes/dry clothes/towel and thats pretty much all you will need. In addition on our way home we stopped at the "Airplane" restuarant? I think thats the name. Cool little spot where you can pick one of the pre-selected meals which is a version of Costa Rican Fried Rice. Good Food.
