What To Expect

Depending on the tour option chosen, either start your tour with pickup from your central San Jose hotel or make your own way to the Braulio Carrillo Park.

On arrival at the park, follow your guide along the paved Bocaraca trail and experience the sights and sounds of the rainforest for yourself. Along the way, listen as your guide points out unique plants and trees, spot exotic birds and colorful insects, and keep a lookout for monkeys swinging through the trees.

Continue your tour with a visit to a terrarium to admire amphibians and reptiles native to Costa Rica, then admire the vibrancy of Costa Rican wildlife as you stroll through a butterfly garden, a hummingbird garden, and an orchid garden.

At the end of your tour, a driver will be waiting to take you back to the city (if pickup option selected).
