Learn surfing from the pros at Surfer Factory Surf School in Jaco. Whether you are new to surfing or experienced getting out on the waves, your instructors will be on hand to make your surfing experience both safe and enjoyable. Both morning and afternoon lessons are available to suit your schedule.

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Neither of us had any surfing experience, but the instructor was skilled at showing us the ropes! We felt safe, ready to hit the surf, and were able to get some great runs in :) a fun, refreshing experience with incredible views! We also had the chance to purchase some awesome drone footage and photographs that beautifully captured these memories for us.

What an experience! Started out my new year with a new experience and I have zero regrets! John, Diana, and Nadine were amazing (instructor, instructor, and photographer) they made my first surfing lesson worth every moment and I’d highly recommend them!

This surf lesson was the highlight of my trip! I shared with them I would be excited if I was just able to stand on the board and they were certain they could get me up and surfing. On the first wave I popped right up and surfed! I was AMAZING! The pro team were terrific, so supportive, helpful and in the end felt like friends. I promise this will be the best experience of your trip.

Surfing on Jaco, even in the rain, was a wonderful experience. Pepe from Barcelona was a patient and talented instructor, took great care with my 16 year old granddaughter who was up on the waves in beautiful form within 1 hour. Nadine was a pleasure as well as an excellent photographer. Best price ever on over a hundred crisp photos.

Nathaniel was a great instructor and was very patient with me and taught me the basics! Before I knew it, I was surfing with the wave! Didn't even realize the drone was taking pictures/videos but was so amazed at the content that it captured. Will definitely do this again!
